Photos: Campaigning with machetes and coffins? Lol

There are some hard core political thugs in Aba that are campaigning for their candidates in the most unorthodox manner. Some days ago, they brandished machetes covered in red, a traditional warning of impending doom on their opponents. And then this morning, they placed coffins at strategic locations and painted it with signs that death would visit anyone who voted ‘against Ngwa interest’. All these is happening in Abia state where the last Governorship election was declared inconclusive by INEC. It's a do-or-die thing for some people. *sigh*. See the photos after cut...

  46. PDP in abia is a mess. 16yrs down the line and nothing to show for it other than tearing off opponent's posters, rigging, thuggery and coffin display. Im ashamed of this my party sha.

  47. It's not hard to see the reason why Igbo make anyway they live outside the East their home. Despite their deep hatred of Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani, they have made homes in virtually all local government in the North and West.

    ReplyDelete
  48. They talk of Biafra but even amongst themselves, there is no unity. The other day, the Governor sacked none Abians from other Eastern states, they did not make noise about it, if it happened in any other part of the country, they will shouting hatred and calling for Biafra.

  50. Ikpeazu cannot campaign himself against the practices but that doesn't impede on the truth that for aba to get clean and have amenities people want it's an ngwa nan that can have it it's turn by turn it's an ngwa man's turn the Dr Alex Otti is from arochukwu. The problem with Ikpeazu is that he's coming from PDP and truthfully TA didn't do nothing! The majority of abains are NGWA people so my people understand politics and stop irritating people with the way you abuse people because of the little too know. If Otti wins he's going to his place to work and nor in aba so calm let's all just be calm.!
