Photos: Another church gives money to honest airport cleaner

Josephine Ugwu, the honest airport cleaner who returned about N6million she found during a routine cleanup at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport airport toilet, was hosted by Pastor Wole Oladiyun and the congregation of Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry in Lagos recently.

A cheque was presented to her with an advise that she should go and start a new business.

While appreciating the Pastor and the congregation for their good gesture towards her, Josephine said the owner of the money which she returned had recently called her and paid in N20, 000 into her account for which she is grateful.

On April 5th, Josephine was also hosted by the founder of TREM, Lagos, Bishop Mike Okonkwo.

    8. Honesly I dont understand why their are paying so much attention to this woman as if she has done wht nobody has ever did b4. Is this how corrupt Nigeria is?? That someone can not longer return something again. Beside, its for her best interest to return it, cause if she fail to return the money and she get caught by CCTV she will face the rat of law. She will go to jail . Nigerian and church ppl should pls stop worshiping this lady for christ sake. Yes, she did good thing. Anyway, congrats to her........

  30. its so amazing that we see honesty as an abnormality in this country. Good hing that she is being rewarded but my question is, was the money hers to take? if she stole it, EFCC would have arrested her. Now she returns it, she is a hero. So are we to do the right thing so that we get publicly rewarded? i can as well start posting up all my good deeds. It is her time to shine and I am happy for her. However, we should all remeber that we are supposed to be good people. Everyone will get rewaded for such. Very soon, pple will start posting on social media stuff like "i returned 1000 naira" expecting a reward.
