Niger state Governor-elect to be sworn in by his mother-in-law on May 29

May 29th this year will be a day to remember as former First Lady of Nigeria and mother in-law to the Governor-elect in Niger state, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, Justice Fati Abubakar will administer the oath of office on the Governor-elect and swear him in as Governor.  

The Governor-elect is married to Dr (Mrs) Aminat  Sani Bello, the daughter of  General Abdulsalami Abubakar, a former Military Head of State and Justice Fati Abubakar who is General Abubakar’s wife. Justice Fati is by law the most senior judicial officer in the state.
