"I swear I never dated Ubi, I was dating someone else' - Emma Nyra

Choi, how do you go on an interview and swear that you didn't date someone when it was public knowledge? Singer Emma Nyra swears she never dated her label boss, Ubi Franklin. In an interview with with Golden Icon, she said;
"No I never dated him. I get that him and Iyanya gist. No, we never dated. We have a business deal together I never dated any of them. I swear I never dated him. I was dating someone else in the industry, but we're not dating right now" she said
Asked how she feels about Ubi Franklin's recent engagement to actress Lilian Esoro, she said 
"Yes I am happy for him. He is in a happy place. To marry somebody, you have to be in a certain level in your life. I am happy for him".
On her relationship with Ubi's fiancee, she said
"I don't really know her very well. Because when they met I was more of doing my own thing so I don't really know her very well but I wish them the best really"she said.
Ubi and Emma were in a relationship for about 3 years but they broke last year.

      Ubi is telling the TRUTH - I work in media and I have personally heard Ubi & Emma arguing about guys who she was sleeping around with while dating him - he was doing the same.

      The amount of money this spent on her yet she has NO hit song should make it OBVIOUS they were together - only your man would spend money on you like that.

    Why did he abruptly marry the other woman? Case of men aint loyal again? I think she's lying because she believes that's how she saves face. But it was the interviewer's job to push for the truth. If you can easily call her out on LIB for lying, the interviewer could have easily pulled a Linda Ikeji and say, "Why lie when ur relationship was common knowledge?"

    If she says she didn't date him,then maybe she didn't.Except you can show us visual evidence of them having sex.otherwise,I choose to believe her.A long Time ago,a friend was very very close to a particular guy. slept in his place, partied together, pecked each other on the lips,they dressed up in each others presence etc.everyone thought they were dating.they kept telling us they weren't.at some point,she added weight and rumors went into overdrive that she was pregnant for him.fast forward to now,she recently got married and her husband is the one that disvirgined her.i have since learned not to judge by what is seen.

    So I know for fact that they were dating but do you expect an artist to spill all their tea? If anything we is taking the high road! Not like Ubi who posts subs to her all over his ig! Ubi beat Emma in Texas! He wept with solo may girls on his U.S. Tour and even flew some of them to UK! Ubi never let guys stay in Emma's hotel rooms and heavily monitored her.
