Gunmen kill El-Rufai's campaign coordinator in Kaduna

One of the local campaign coordinators of Kaduna state governor-elect and former FCT Minister, Nasir El-Rufai, Markus Ishaya, was killed today April 21st by unknown gunmen at his home in Atuku Kasa, Atuku Ward of Jema’a local government area of Kaduna state.

In a statement released by Mallam El Rufai's spokesman, Samuel Aruwan, he said Ishaya, who was  El-Rufai's coordinator in Atuku ward in the state, was trailed to his village by 2 gunmen and was shot severally.

"His family informed us that unknown gunmen stormed his residence and shot him several times. The men, two in number, were well armed and did not pick any property in his residence except carrying out the ungodly act. The Police have confirmed the incident. The Police have also visited the scene of the crime and have commenced investigation. While we appreciate their prompt action, our expectation is that the security agencies will fully investigate this killing and prosecute the perpetrators. Security agencies must adequately protect all Nigerians irrespective of their status and standing,” the statement read

  15. The other day I wrote about how more than 30 APC members have been killed in my local government in ONELGA but Linda and her boyfriend ate my comment. I am from a PDP family but the killings especially in Rivers State are just too much. We have Ogboni men and Militants trying to govern and make laws for the state. I'm waiting to see what God will do. Gov Ameachi is very arrogant and can talk carelessly sometimes but at least he is not a killer. God please rise up and set Rivers State free because I can imagine the amount of people that will be killed if power is given to people without the fear of God.
