Ghen Ghen! Buhari bars AIT from covering his activities

Staff of Africa Independent Television, AIT, have been barred from covering all activities of  the President-elect, Gen. Buhari until issues bordering on ethics and standards against them have been addressed. AIT crew members were today escorted out of the Defence House where the president-elect currently resides. He was about to have a meeting with the Cuban and Switzerland ambassadors when the reporters were escorted out. Speaking on the development, the spokesperson of the Buhari campaign organization, Shehu Garba said family and security concerns necessitated it.
"AIT has been asked to step aside based on security and family concerns. In addition, Buhari has decided that they will have to resolve some issues relating to issues of standard and ethics. We will be talking with them to try and resolve the matter, but for now the station has been asked to stay aside because, like I said, there are some family and security concerns.
They have been asked to step down their coverage until we resolve the matter with them on ethics and standards‎. You can quote me that I said that we have asked them to step aside and that we are resolving the the issues of ethics and standards with them.”he said

    3. Habiba you are just as blind and daft as your fellow Buhari supporters, what exactly is wrong with you people??? You will never see anything wrong with Buhari because he's "incorruptible ", most of you now take politics of Nigeria like it's a football club that you support...this is democracy, the freedom of press should continue, don't suppress information with your power...just like Tinubu and Fashola who always filter what the media gives to the people and because of that you barely hear anything wrong that Fashola or Tinubu does, Buhari wants to start his own, but this time they will fail because the world is watching and we will surely stand against this despotic act. one thing this illiterate Buhari should know is,not everybody likes him and not everybody would like him, he should learn to respect people's opinions!!!nonsense!!!

News should be reported as objectively as possible.TVC has full Tinubu backing but they tried to cover the whole campaign as objectively as possible.

Channels and STV stayed neutral.understandably,NTA will support any government in power, that's ok.

AIT however made it too obvious for a private organization.

I approve the step aside order.
