Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state will today know his fate as the Supreme court will be delivering judgement
on the petition filed by the APC challenging his victory at the June
21 2014 governorship election. APC in its petition, had alleged that
unlawful use of soldiers, intimidation of its supporters and compromised
ballot papers were used to achieve his victory at last year's
elections. The APC had lost in an earlier petition at the Ekiti state
Governorship Election
Petitions Tribunal on December 19, 2014 which upheld Governor Fayose’s
victory. A dissatisfied APC approached the
Supreme court for further hearing on the matter.
Meanwhile
tension has reportedly gripped the state as both party supporters are
awaiting the outcome of the supreme court judgement today.
We are waiting.
ReplyDeleteHmm.. We're ready to know his fate too..

Politics blah blah blah
ReplyDeleteIt saddens me that I am from that state. This man is not worthy being the Governor of the state, but for poverty amongst my people cant make them see beyond their noses. I pray he is sent to jail.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pity! I can imagine the state of his mind now and the "buttons he would be pressing " well, your mind would be at rest if your way are pure and without blemish! But is that the case with this MR? Acts 8:22
ReplyDeleteThis APC never give up
ReplyDeleteI wish him the best
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be surprised if the verdict favour Fayose. He has been going round to seek favour from judges and all that.
ReplyDeleteHe is going down for good. Can't wait to see his political demise, his political will should be torn to shreds and d remains burnt to cinders
ReplyDeleteFayose now on his own. How sad!

ReplyDeleteThis is one of the reasons i HATE APC!!! When they loose election is not free, when they win election is free. Ekiti people have not known peace since they lost. WTF!
ReplyDeleteThat is cos they were never in the position to rig the election now the pendulum of power has switched we would see.don't be disgusted because pdp would soon start ranting from now on
DeleteAs much as I hate this man's immaturity. APCs verdicts are baseless....
ReplyDeleteNothing will happen, he will still be the Gov. of this state unless they want something else

Let's keep our finger crossed.
ReplyDeletewhats going on with his impeachment notice
ReplyDeleteI was in Ekiti for the elections I campaigned for LP but the truth be told Fayose won that election. Even though most elite hate Fayose, the masses of Ekiti love him so much and they voted for him wwith a passion. Fayemi on the other hand was too far from the masses forming elite governor and that was why they voted him out. For the records based on what I saw while in Ekiti Ayodel Fayose won dat election
ReplyDeleteYeah we know he won but someone should tell him to just calm down because of him now touts and cultist are free to harass and oppress anyone in the State
DeleteYour are truly a good and truthful person
DeleteOk ooooo....m waitin jejely for d outcome.
ReplyDeleteHe won after all I don't know how this man is doing it but there's something definitely backing him up that is why he can command the heavens and the hell but theres one thing sure he would be a history of bad example very soon
ReplyDeleteAPC has decided to take ova Nigeria..... Na wa..
