Legislators at Ekiti Assembly have served
Governor Ayo Fayose an impeachment notice and have given him seven days to
respond.
At least 18 members of the
Ekiti State House of Assembly have agreed to commence investigations
into allegations of grave misconduct against the governor.
One of the legislators in Ekiti told Sahara Reporters, “We are
going to look at the allegations against Governor Fayose in a
responsible manner and make our decision in line with the rule of law
and the overall interest of the people of the state.”
If indeed Fayose
gets successfully impeached, it would mark his second impeachment in
office.
Wow! Nice development, can't wait to see that lousy man go down,in history as the first governor to be impeached twice.

Thank GOD! We need quality leaders that respect the law. Not jaguda, Omo Ita governors that are not home trained and has the audacity to slap a judge doing his job. Fayose should be imprisoned and him if not anyone else should have the books thrown at him and set an example to deter future politicians that no condition is permanent! He should not walk free!

Because Buhari is the president elect does not mean that APC members will start exhibiting their madness. If Buhari should mess up our democracy for the second time, he will not be alive to escape it this time. Nigeria is bigger than Buhari and APC.
