Abuja court terninates hearing on eligibility suit against Gen. Buhari

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja this morning terminated further hearing on two separate suits challenging the eligibility of Gen. Buhari, to participate in the March 28th presidential election.

The Presiding judge, Justice‎ Ademola Adeniyi struck out the suits after the plaintiffs withdrew them through separate notices of discontinuance they filed before the high court. The remaining pending eligibility suit against General Buhari is the one filed by Ayakeme Whiskey. No date has been fixed for the hearing in the pending suit.

  8. If they had withdrawn a case against Jonathan, we would have seen apc people boiling, Buhari doesn't have a certificate, he submitted a fake one, but the God we serve will do something to teach these fake leaders a lesson

    2. They withhdrew it bcos they found out that the army actually had it and claimed they didn't. Now that he has won the election, dey have no option but to start begging for forgiveness on the grounds that they were threatened. If the case hadn't been withdrawn, u would have been surprised that the certificates will turn up in law court.

We all know BABA has no WASCE...please argue with your neighbours.

  39. yes strike every other case against him off. cos since he has won already it will do the country no good if the judge turns around and says he is not eligible. lets move on and see how he rules the country. hope its gonna be positive. but i know he is a bush and uneducated man. so we are obviously moving backwards

  41. Wole Soyinka said it that it's only ethnicity and illiteracy that would make you want Jonathan. The guy is incapable and has proved it for 5 yrs but you are against Buhari because he is a muslim well he has come to stay and if u feel Jonathan was cheated you can go hug a transformer. If you like keep insulting him from now till you die nothing can change that fact that he won. Wake up from your illiteracy and ethnicity and u'll realise that we need change from this govt that has killed Nigeria.

  42. All you ppl that are saying Buhari doesn't have a certificate how do you even know whether he went to school or not? u'll just be speaking nonsense. And even if favouritism is swimmimg we learnt from the best so u can go jump in the lagoon or leave Naija then you can come back when the person of your choice becomes the president!!!!
