Pics: Massive turnout as Lagosians honour 1-Million-Man-March for Buhari
Lagosians were asked to come out in numbers to march in
support of Buhari today and they did come out. Here
are pictures from the ongoing march. See more after the cut...
Yes oh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All Nigerians wake-up wherever you are for #change#! Buhari and Osinbajo. Can change this country and Nigeria will be better again. Yes he can do it. Don't let people deceive people party, deceive you. They are coming again!!! Shine your eyes well, OJB, called them hawks that surround GEJ, Its has been proven that we are not moving forward for past 6 years now, all what they do is to recycle themselves and continuity embezzlement of Nigerians money. You can see for yourself, people deceive people PDP party, that is their mentality. They said Buhari will take us back if elected President! Nigerians say it's a good decision to go back when you've lost your way on a 6 years. PDP journey where our destination as a nation is no longer visible. Please, Buhari, take us back to the era where:1. One Dollar was less than one Naira. It is incredible today!2. Everything was on first come first serve basis.3. There was zero tolerance for corruption.4. Oil refineries in PortHarcourt, Warri & Kaduna were built & running at full capacity.5. Anybody with questionable wealth was afraid to display it in public. 6. There was Zero tolerance for indiscipline. Everything was in order7. Nigeria had no debt at all.8. Neglecting your children was a crime9. Littering the public place was a crime10. Twenty oil depots were built and functioning.11 Western world can't interfere into our nation.12. Chad invaded Nigeria, we sent them packing but did not harness their Land13. Our economy was NOT running on generator14. We can sleep with our eyes closed because we were secured.15. Countries like Indonesia and Malaysia need not to set example on how to deal with drug pushers. 16. The Maitaseine Islamic Sect insurgency in the North was crushed on record time. 17. We want those days when Buhari was a military Governor but did not amass illegal wealth. 18. We want those days when Buhari was a Minister of Petroleum but did not hire a private jet for N10 billion. 19. We want those days when Buhari was a Head of State but did not loot the Treasury. 20. We want those days when Buhari was Head of PTF but did not steal the Fund even in the days of Abacha when stealing was the order of the day. Pls, Buhari & Osinbajo, take us BACK! We can't afford another 4yrs of waste in the hands of PDP!!! Take us BACK to the good old days of this our great nation. #ihavedecided to vote for #change#
Let me hear u say #change# yes oh!!!!!!!! FFK and Fayose, will run mad today!!!!! Lol. I pledge to Nigeria my country to vote Buhari and Osinbajo on 28 of march, to be gentle, loyal on election day, to say NO TO GEJ, again to rule Nigeria with all my strength, to protect my PVC and uphold no violence and trouble.. So help me God.. Forward this to ur frnds if u love Nigeria ur country, enough is enough PDP and GEJ corrupt Government must go. #ihavedecided to vote for #change#
With free and fair election Jonathan will fail woefully days why he's fighting against card reading by all means possible even if it will take removal of Jega
You can only drag a horse to the stream, but can never force him to drink, I know how much I got to attend this yet am sitting in my house, if PDP comes I will collect, if Apc comes I definitely collect, on the D day I no who my vote is for
BUHARI PLEASE I TAKE GOD BEG YOU, GO AND RULE ZIMBABWE BIKO! THAT IS WHERE YOU GET RUNNING MATE AND AGE MATE, WE DONT NEED U AGAIN WE NEED TO MOVE ON NOT GOING BACKWARD, WE CANT EVEN HEAR WHAT YOU SAY,,AT THIS MODERN TIME YOU STILL CALL NEPPA=NEFA AND APC= AFC etc MEHN GO AND RETIRE OR,,,,,,,,,,,,,GO TO ZIMBA!!!
Well.you could say that.PDP has made you not value your country.those of us here love this country & want CHANGE to come. You will be proud of your country soon.We will have a leader who'll think of his fellow countrymen than his pockets or bank account.
Dey don't know naa_lagos is just a one state in nigeria_some ppl will see this and think APC has already won the election_ NC,SS,SE,NW is for GEJ_biko how will. APC win with just SW and NE? Or better still pdp has 22 states and APC has. 13 states_biko how will they defeat pdp? I don't just understand the noise about saiBuhari and change! It's very funny!
What is wrong in gathering APC supporters and the touts in Lagos that they have given license to operate without hindrance. Asiwaju Private Company(APC)
U re a fool 4 dis comment. Ur parents re jobless. Useless idiot daughter of goat. Ur name should be Bitter Mary instead, cos I sensed bitterness in ur comment.
Yes ooo oooo Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Sai buhari.....if Pdp like they should shift elections to Dec25, remove Jega and put Dame Jonathan or Reject Card readers and put Cash readers...Lmaooooooooooo Change is here #Saibaba Gej has lost it
I am for PDP but I think there's something important about this APC that they have more support.i need change too.Buhari you get my vote come what March 28
Hehe the name GMB is becoming no longer a name but a movement.Even if he doesn't win at least he's achieved one thing.Yes he made GEJ to be on his toes ! For the 1st time PDP has lost its grip.Impressive
Ogaa ooo. Days drawing near, madness of election has started again. Tinubu didn't allow Atiku my man win APC presidential candidate because they all knew how stubborn he is. The only man who set Obasanjo on hot seat... Corrupt Obasanjo who deceived Nigerians to acquire incredible large portion of land at Ota and said it's for Operation Feed The Nation. A federal government property now his personal property. Making N35,000,000 daily from the farm now. Still one egg in Ota farm and you will be dead. If APC knows they are clean, they would have allowed ATIKU become their presidential candidate instead of Buhari whom the world expects to die soon. They took advantage of Buhari desperacy. APC is too good but that is where you have 70% of bad people from PDP. This election has really quarantined things. I wish Fashola can move out of APC. If it is not because of Fashola, a lot of people won't vote for APC. Just Tinubu and his Mafian gang alone can only create riots. People know Tinubu is a deadloss and hate him so much but Fashola is like lamb that washes away his evil deeds yet he is dictating Fashola's life because of an oath taken at the initial stage. TINUBU and BOMBARI ARE LOSERS FOR EVER.
IF ANYONE IS SHOCKED AT THIS TURN OUT IN LAGOS THEN THE PERSON HAS BEEN BRAINWASHED AND THIS STRATEGY HAS WORKED. LAGOS IS A STRONG HOLD OF THE APC CERTAINLY PEOPLE WILL TURN OUT AND THE RESULT WILL BE THIS BLIND EXCITMENT THAT APC HAS WON. WHY DIDNT THEY GO TO KATSINA WHERE THE BUHARI IS FROM OR ABUJA THE CAPITAL WHERE THE TURN OUT WILL REFLECT THE ACCEPTABILITY OF BUHARI NATIONWIDE. TINUBU IS DESPEARTE TO GET BUHARI TO ASO ROCK AND SO EVERYTHING NOW HAPPENS IN LAGOS.
Sai Buhari kor, slap Buhari ni.old sick man I wonder what he wants to come n do in asorock.abeg no vacancy for a sick old man as president.ivn if gej is not d beta option but I d go wt him n believe in transformation since we r left wt two unqualified pple for presidential post.i tink gej is beta.thanks to my cantri naijeria
Well, To me this is arrant nonsense, I dnt like politics, buh I really think these people are just doing too much to get to power, If you would vote buhari ,that should be within you, not until you start marching the whole city like cow! *observe* You just lucky Gej is a free man, you wouldn't wait to tell the story ,if it were a strict president! Don't forget Jonathan is still the president of the republic of nigeria #showsomerespect
Nigerians on d match again, on the match again. Gmb is our man o! This used to be Abiolas themes song!!!! Gmb pple Shd find that gingle and add there names
Great response! Lagos alone doesn't make up Nigeria and if u take the population of Lagosians, this crowd is not up to a quarter. 4 me,its GEJ till 2019
And the heat goes on - for PDP. Employ all the rigging gimmicks, clone a million FFKs, Fayoses, and all like minded low lifes, this juggernaut will trample and crush you if you dare stand on its way. No more room for deadwoods and mediocres. Buhari/Osinbajo all the way!!!
Tinubu slaves! Upon say he has milked una dry! For your information, rumour has it dat Buhari is regretting merging with him after he watched the documentary on tinubu.
I can't see anything massive about that crown in a state that has more than 2Million population...is not about who am supporting buh I bet u if PDP try organise theirs its gonna be d same turnout...Naija never reach that level of mindset una deh think
#Babawhileyouwereaway, the dollar rain in Lagos by the clueless one could not sway us cos we have decided a long time ago. To show you solidarity and show GEJ shame, we have decided to March4UBaba!!
I kinda started following this blog of recent and I can't help but wonder. Do these people: bonario, onyx (hope I got that right), juliet iwuno, christie benjamin, have a day time job? 'cause they seem to have a lot of time on their hands as they appear in the comment session of every post the lady (I hope u are a lady, cause it would be really weird for a guy to answer linda) that owns this blog puts up. Or is this because of some sort of end of year giveaway I hear she gives or something? I must confess, this really surprises me because I know how tired I am when I get back from work each day and usually have little or no time at all for the internet; only to see these people's names pop up in the comment sessions every time I open this site, some of them even commenting as early as 8am.
Is it only me that noticed this constant power since morning when we ve not had more than two hours in one week? I have said this several times that APC has bought over power distribution companies management for political reasons. We have light today because they want us to view their campaign train today. It's only the gullible that doesn't see what is going on in this country. If they can deny us power because of their selfishness, how can one separate them from Boko haram? Desperation of the highest order
Buhari is the kind of change that will cause Nigerians worse pain. I pity all those that are been deceived by the lies and propaganda of this deceptive change of the APC. To HELL with Buhari,he will fail again and this time his heart will fail.
Buhari and APC are fools. Buhari said he will make GEJ's government ungovernable and he did by using Boko Haram to distract the administration. Somebody should remind Buhari that the Niger Delta Warlords are waiting for him,he should pray not to win because we shall unleash fire upon him and APC for their evil agenda towards the people of Nigeria and Niger delta. Buhari be warned!!!
Buhari is going no where, nigeria can never be islamised God for bid. We don need any1 that will come and. Impose sharia law, everybody knows that Buhari has hidden agenda.
What is massive about this population? Remember they are not matching for buhari. They are matching for their money. Come rain come shine GEJ till 2019.
And so? Is Lagos half of Nigeria? Rubbish. Its barely 3 weeks away make we rest for una matter. Make una match go china, wetin concern me. Aboki will not enter aso rock. Gej till 2019
The target of 1 million is so low for state like Lagos. These people are party members and their immediate supporters not electorates. None of us commenting on LIB is rallying also showing that these people do not have worth while to do. God help Nigeria.
General Buhari jailed FELA KUTI, seized CHIEF OBAFEMI AWOLOWO passport, kidnapped and Boxed UMARU DIKKO, KILLED WOMEN with firing squad and terrorized many innocent NIGERIANS!!! Don't vote for Buhari!!!
Buhari will never rule Nigeria again. I personally do not want to witness a Buhari again because 4 years of his administration would be a terrible nightmare! We do not want him! He retired about 30years ago, what good has he done for himself?! What business has he done all this years to contribute to the economy of Nigeria?! A man that once failed woefully to manage this country; couldn't initiate and manage any business and couldn't manage his own family is dreaming of managing a complex country like Nigeria!!!
Is Buhari part of the rally/march? NO. So what's the essence? GEJ and VP Sambo are in Abuja for their own jogging. Why is Buhari not identifying with his so called supporters? APC ain't sincere!
If Buhari and the APC people are patriotic and love Nigeria, your people are dying and you said you have the solution to Boko haram insurgency, why are you keeping it until you over power?!!!
I have always said that Buhari is never a better option! Whoever vote for Buhari is an enemy to Nigeria! This is the man that STOPPED THE FREE FEEDING FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS when he was Head of State! My fellow Nigerians how can we forget this in a hurry? Buhari doesn't augur well for Nigeria!!!
419 is when Buhari said he borrowed 27Million Naira for Presidential form; but his wife donated drugs worth 135Million Naira to displaced persons in Yola! Buhari wants to lie himself into power, but he won't succeed! Nigeria shine your eyes!!!
Touts! we cannot give you our support old man, we can only give you our sympathy and as a good man to other deceitful Nigerians that support you as their icon, I will advice you to go home and enjoy your pension cash so that you can live longer.....LOOSER...#GEJ4NIJA
Hmm! It is good to see some real opposition in Nigeria for a change. GMB's resolve is commendable, however can he really win the election or does he truly represent the kind of real change we clamour for in Nigeria?
The PDP Administration has been largely woeful even though it has made a few giant strides in some areas. Be that as it were we need to seriously answer the following questions before paying lip service or playing armchair politics: Is the entire Redeemed community really going to vote for a Muslim president on the day of the election? Really? Doesn't that go totally against the teachings in the church? Vote for a unbeliever? Can the Christians in Nigeria trust a Muslim president to protect the interests of not only Christians, but all non-Muslims? We really ought to be getting to the bottom of why we are faced with Muslim insurgents before we naively hand our lives over to a Muslim president. We just heard that the former CJN's son might have left Nigeria to join ISIS and we continually hear that Boko Haram is being funded by powerful Muslim leaders. If we add to this the fact that we also cannot ignore GMB's military dictatorial antecedents, his age and current true health status, things begin to look even more confusing. Don't get me wrong please. My family is 50% Muslim and 50% Christian, so I am not hating on Muslims.
Furthermore, add to the equation the fact that the biggest financier of APC has for many years been rumoured to have been cornering a large chunk of Lagos's revenue for his personal use despite not being in Government per se. Now do you really think entrusting the commonwealth of Nigeria vicariously (an entirely different debate) into the hand of this APC financier will serve the purpose of over 170 million Nigerians? Or are we just going to be granting free licence to a grossly greedy and corrupt man and his cronies to visit the kind of legendary stealing and abuse of power in not just one State now, but the whole Nigerian federation???
GEJ and his Ministers also don't represent any hope either. One could go on for days should one start on the comedy of errors that has plagued his mostly incompetent team. The truth is that both sides are same shame of same. A point to ponder though is that can Nigerian businesses handle the uncertainty that a new Government at the centre can bring?? Would GMB make our lives any better this time around if given another chance?
Sadly, I don't see any hope for Nigeria based on either options in their current make-up. Unless God shows his hand and helps them re-strategise and choose much more credible, qualified and suitable candidates, then don't sleep with both eyes closed. There are a few honourable people in both camps, unfortunately, they are outnumbered by the bad eggs with financial mite. Also historically, Lagosians seem to confuse the high IGR potential of the State, which is really a function of the huge tax-paying adult population, with the efficiency of who governs the State. Well, a State that generates N22 billion monthly will by default make anybody at the helm of affairs look like a genius regardless of party affiliations.
In the final analysis what we need is great leaders regardless of religious leanings and party affiliations that truly have the fear of God in their heart. It would not hurt to perhaps see some solid women running things at the helm "properly" too only because they earned it and not because of whom they are related to by marriage or otherwise. I am a Nigerian woman, and I wish her all the best in the forthcoming election, I am don't particularly care who wins, as long as Nigeria itself wins, because then, we all win!!! God help Nigeria and bless us all.
The next presido. Sai buhari! Lindaoobserve

ReplyDeleteChai see threats, FFK, and co go dey shiver now, Goodluck pls just forget lagos, no waste money to campaign again. It's Over!!!! Sai Baba!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI kinda started following this blog of recent and I can't help but wonder.
ReplyDeleteIs it only me that noticed this constant power since morning when we ve not had more than two hours in one week? I have said this several times that APC has bought over power distribution companies management for political reasons. We have light today because they want us to view their campaign train today. It's only the gullible that doesn't see what is going on in this country. If they can deny us power because of their selfishness, how can one separate them from Boko haram? Desperation of the highest order
ReplyDeleteBuhari is the kind of change that will cause Nigerians worse pain. I pity all those that are been deceived by the lies and propaganda of this deceptive change of the APC. To HELL with Buhari,he will fail again and this time his heart will fail.
ReplyDeleteBuhari and APC are fools.
ReplyDeleteFucking paid crowd, this is the final desperate trump card. A parties desperation to wrestle power. They will never get it. Pls vote wisely vote GEJ !

ReplyDeleteThe target of 1 million is so low for state like Lagos. These people are party members and their immediate supporters not electorates. None of us commenting on LIB is rallying also showing that these people do not have worth while to do. God help Nigeria.
ReplyDeleteGeneral Buhari jailed FELA KUTI, seized CHIEF OBAFEMI AWOLOWO passport, kidnapped and Boxed UMARU DIKKO, KILLED WOMEN with firing squad and terrorized many innocent NIGERIANS!!! Don't vote for Buhari!!!
ReplyDelete#ChangeMovement#ChangeCrew#MarchforBuhari
ReplyDeleteAre these the 1 million men.........dreamers. G
ReplyDeleteBuhari will never rule Nigeria again.
ReplyDeleteMassive ko massive ni YIMU GEJ 2015 AND BEYOND
ReplyDeleteWho them help? Yimu
ReplyDeleteIs Buhari part of the rally/march? NO. So what's the essence? GEJ and VP Sambo are in Abuja for their own jogging. Why is Buhari not identifying with his so called supporters? APC ain't sincere!
ReplyDeleteIf Buhari and the APC people are patriotic and love Nigeria, your people are dying and you said you have the solution to Boko haram insurgency, why are you keeping it until you over power?!!!

ReplyDeletein an over populated state, am sure getting one million useless people won't be a problem
ReplyDeleteBuhari is a man full of contradictions:-
ReplyDelete- He said he will fight corruption but Thiefnubu is his friend!
- He will give us security but he was pushed out of office in 1985 like a chicken by his subordinate!
- He is honest but lies about his qualification!
- He has no N27million to buy form but his wife has N135million worth of drugs to donate!
- He is poor but all his children school in the elite schools abroad!
- He will fight terrorism but sees others fighting terrorism (boko haram) as anti-north!
- He will empower the youths but is never known to have helped a single Almajiri, even in Daura!
- He will fix the economy but has not even elementary knowledge of economics!
- He will stabilize global oil price but is not OPEC president!
- He is the Presidential candidate of APC but doesn't know the full meaning of APC!
- etc!!!

Hmm! It is good to see some real opposition in Nigeria for a change. GMB's resolve is commendable, however can he really win the election or does he truly represent the kind of real change we clamour for in Nigeria?
ReplyDeleteThe PDP Administration has been largely woeful even though it has made a few giant strides in some areas. Be that as it were we need to seriously answer the following questions before paying lip service or playing armchair politics:
Is the entire Redeemed community really going to vote for a Muslim president on the day of the election?
The Tsunami of Change is all over Lagos. Protect your lives and property. It's only a few minutes, it will pass and SANITY will return.
