Photos: Woman stranded with new born baby opposite Federal Palace Hotel

A woman who's not mentally stable has been stranded with a baby opposite Federal Palace Hotel, on Ahmadu Bello Way, Lagos for quite a while now. From the photos, this child's gender cannot be confirmed but looks newly born.

According to the source who reached out to LIB and sent in the photos, the woman, who's probably not aware of her actions, exposes this baby to all forms of weather conditions, day and night. They fear that the child might not survive these harsh exposure if this continues. So here's calling on the relevant government agencies or those in charge of social welfare, child services or even appropriate NGOs to please respond on time in order to save both the mother and child whose place of residence is on the road all day long. More photos after the cut...

  60. Why can't you (Linda) personally contact an agency or social services or even a orphanage to pick the child up immediately rather than only posting this on your blog? We Nigerians are all about words and no action.

Also they are not stranded, wrong choice of words...

    God Bless!
