Photos: Thousands of Indians come out to show support for mob justice against rapists

Recently, a mob broke into a prison, grabbed a man awaiting trial for the rape of a student, dragged him four miles and then beat him to death for his crime. (Read here). Instead of condemning the brutality, thousands of Indians, who have had enough of these rapes cases, came out in support of mob justice, promising to attack and kill anyone accused of rape. See another photo after the cut...

    1. Smh - Nigerians should also March because the PDP led government has rapes our economy and left it in tatters.
GEJ neither built hospitals nor renovated existing ones. They all get treated abroad; how about other 99% of Nigerians?

  27. Very good. I hate it when men take undue advantage of women. Why must some men look at women as inferior beings. If the law can not handle it let the people handle it.

  40. Rape is a bestial act and should be rightly condemned by any right thinking society!

I hope these APC people will not steal this picture of the crowd and claim it's people who came to welcome Buhari! That's how they were falsely pedling photos of Reinhard Bonke crusade as Buhari campaign crowd!!!

    1. Wrong? Really? I see nothing wrong in a mob attacking and tearing a rapist to pieces!!! I will gladly join them if i get the chance. Let them attack, drag, dismember, and burn any rapist they catch henceforth and we'll all see that rape will be drastically reduced in India. The cases of rape there is disgustingly high. And you're here saying "this is wrong". They are fucking tired!!!

  57. It's been a long time coming. Having lived and studied in India I'm happy the masses have taken law into their hands as rape is a nasty scourge in the Indian society. Kill them all!

    1. I swear. We need this in Nigeria! Any rapist that is caught should 1st of all have his dick sawed off very slowly, then let pepper be applied to the wound. After that, he should be dragged by his neck till he dies! Especially those who rape children. Let this be done to just one rapist and you will see how the rest will control themselves! I don't care how barbaric or cold I sound, but rapists deserve such!

  60. this is so wrong on many levels, as much as i would want a severe punishment for rape cases, even death, i would never support mob's jungle justice on any offense, many innocent pple would die. females could even start victimizing males, threaten them with rape accusation if they fail to do something for them. jungle justice is wrong, and will always be.

  61. Sometime jungle justice is the best......linda I have spoken

  62. Victoria Inyang, you harsh o.......then again, you talk true somehow. the way we are so docile is scary. Jungle justice is wrong but is a symptom that people are fed up with justice not been delivered justly. I wonder how our leaders will react to this kind of justice for all the hell we go through to keep them fat.....smh
