  29. Its very common in d northern parts cuz of d dry sands. Abuja is a northern state too.

  35. It was crazy. I had to swallow tons of sand forced down my throat. The forceful wind almost pushed me down before I could run for safety
    Heavy rain followed immediately after

  91. Linda I experienced this storm. It was really terrible. My friends wedding was just coming to an end, and the canopies they used all blew away making a lot of people sustain different degrees of injuries. The worst was that when I got home, my house was was covered with dust, i didn't even know where to start cleaning from.

  103. I was around garki waiting for taxi before I knew wot was happening sandy dust everywhere. I was terrified because there was no where to hide. I just saw one keke coming I did not even ask where the keke was going I just entered thinking it will be better than where I was standing. Before we could move from DAT spot the breeze came with extra force and blew the keke to another corner. It was God DAT save me. The keke fell with d side in fact it was terrible.

  107. Hi Linda, please can you talk about the power outage in Abuja? It's been extremely bad for the past week. I mean there's been no light at all!!! Food has gone bad, the place is hot, work cannot be done. Not everyone has money for a gen and all we're hearing is elections. Please Linda write on it. It's becoming unbearable
