  22. The same group of people that have squandered Nigeria's money for years in these photos.
Let's see if corruption will go away in Nigeria for the next 20 years.
We need young minds in government and Nigerians should not celebrate yet until poverty is alleviated and their livelihood is changed for the better. Cos is gonna be the same selection process with a new party, but the same old faces. Buhari it's up to you now to keep to your promises. God bless Nigeria.

  30. The only credible thing GEJ did in his political career as president he did at the end ie 'set the platform for change'

He lost the biggest opportunity in his life to go beyond this.
In a nutshell he benefited no one but the cabals backing him, who hiding behind him who cleverly hid their looting tracks so they could blame it all including this election failure on GEJ. He was the archetypal figure head and a failure on many fronts whether it was corruption, the economy or security or simply strong leadership.

GEJ did create opportunity but only for the lootocrats, he created more millionaires than any other president did. Indeed PDP became the personal development party for those with the right connections. But all this came at a price, for every billionaire he created he pushed 1 million Nigerians below the poverty line

The people have spoken, many will indeed be happy to see him go, including his PDP paymasters as he was nothing short of an embarrassment.

Hopefully PDP can pick up from the ruins and provide what Nigeria needs, a strong and credible opposition

    What a sad ending

well, you have to respect GEJ at the end of the day, lets be clear if an incumbent President wants to remain in power in a country like Nigeria, he will remain and nothing will happen... so for a man with access to so much power and money and freedom to be selfish, for him to choose to conduct a credible election, appoint a decent man to head INEC, refuse to rig and allow INEC the freedom and power needed to conduct a history altering election such as this, you have to respect him. Hats off to GEJ. I salute him.

  97. The Impossible Have Been Achieved
We stood the storm,l. We dared the heat. We
resisted the intimidation. We held firmly to faith
and unreserved dedication was embedded in our
    awesome resilience.
    Dollars was embarrassed. Sentiments was
    silenced. Incumbency theory was rewritten.
Souvenirs was demeaned. Sharing of Rice,
Noddles and Turkey was maligned. Derogatory
    documentaries never worked. Embarrassed
adverts on the pages of Newspapers was useless
and the biggest party in Africa became an
    Opposition.
Prisons are being painted. More will be built.
Many ministries would be audited. Many will
vomit what they swallowed. Many will run kneel
and gently return what they "borrowed". Many
cases will be dusted. Many will cry bitterly. "Daris
God" will be the anthem of many. Goats will stop
eating yams. Stealing will now be corruption.
ICPC will wake from slumber. EFCC will start
    prosecuting real thieves and Immigration
exercises will wear a new look.
The change has finally come. Revolution achieved
with PVC. The youths spoke with one voice.
Congratulations to all Nigerians that believed and
keyed into this noble yet difficult course. It is a
    victory for Nigerians and Nigeria.
    Finally the change has come..
