Photos; Actor Cheta Anekwe and wife welcome son

Nigerian born award winning actor and film maker, Chet Bashari Anekwe, whose works spans Hollywood, Nollywood and the New York Theatre, has welcomed a son, Bashari Grayson Anekwe with his wife Rebekah. Rebekah gave birth at the Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center in California yesterday March 10th. The couple got married in July 2013.

This is the couple's first child together and the third child for Cheta who has two daughters from a previous relationship. Congrats to them.

    His name is Chet, not Cheta. His father is Igbo while his mom is Muslim Hausa. Hence his baby's name Bashari, whom he named after himself. Growing up, he chose to embrace his mothers religion. Hope this clears the air on some of ur questions.
