Man shares disgusting pics of expired Nigerian product with altered dates

According to the person who shared the photo online, he said he purchased some Nigerian packaged sausage rolls with expiry date: BB: 28/03/2015. Even though it still has four days to its expiry date, check out what the rolls turned into. See more photos after the cut...

  43. This is simply a business strategy, and this is a perfect example of how businesses use schemes, maneuvers in maintaining a competitive edge in a market or market segment.

    ReplyDelete
  44. This has even happened to me before.
    And it was gala,
I couldn't eat gala for over on year.

  45. NOT THEIR FAULT!!!!
It is the way it I handled after production eg the people who sell on and don't refrigerate properly or carry it back to their shop without refrigeration, or the packaging has been compromised. It is unfair to blame a company when it could be their distributors at fault.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Hmmmmm! Most likely is the fault of the hawkers who hawk this products in the rain and after being wet and spoilt they are sold to end users.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Similar thing happened sometimes ago when it was rumoured that a particular batch of indomie is poisoinous all to later be discovered it was all lies.
Carefully studying the pics , i believe the guy who posted the pics is upto something or probably working for some competitor(s). why is it the sealed product expiry dates that is displayed ? Why cant he display the dates on the opened products ? Snacks like this are bought in one or two pieces , how come he have many to display ? Why didnt he open the snack so we can see the content and be sure whos company product it is truely? i think it is just an attempt by competitors to market their rival products.

  48. mehn!! but wats this guy doing with the whole bunch. Is he reselling them?

    ReplyDelete
  49. We can not put the blames on the manufacture of the products! Am sure the products were not purchased directly from the manufacturers, how was the products being handled after they leave the manufacturer site, via distributors and retailers.

  50. NAFDAC should do their work on this post...imagine the buyer of this pie gave it to her kids to take to school she wouldnt have known and neither the innocent child. pls BB date isnt an issue again on nigeria products.

  53. It has happened to me b4, almost a whole cartoon

    ReplyDelete
  54. Na today?! They do it, especially with Gala and the likes. The distributors not the manufacturers alter the dates and sell them so that they don't lose their investments.

  55. Yes disTins happens even in ph. There's a supermarket I know someone that used to work in. She told me that there's a machine they use in updating expired goods. May God save us from the hands of this greedy fellows

  59. LINDA WHY?

This a pure BLACKMAIL Masterminded by the Competitors.

Is this deformation of the compay's image ON THE MEDIA the BEST way to handle this?

Did you call the attention of the company before this publication. Is Legal action not an option?

I know this product very well, it is one of the Best Sausages in Nigerian Market today.

    GOD IS WATCHING OOOO!
