From Ground Zero to Cloud 9: Pres. Jonathan's 18yr old Pilot and other Flying Stars

Sponsored post. President Jonathan hosted 5000 Young Nigerians to an even titled #MeetThePresident in Lagos, Sunday evening. For Mr. President the rewarding moment was when a group of young Pilots, including Nigeria’s youngest pilot, an 18-year-old, which were trained by his administration came on stage to thank and appreciate the President amongst several endorsements and verifiable testimonials of the Jonathan administration’s impact on Nigerian Youths.

The President was stirred and visibly impressed as he invited the Pilots to join him for discussion and refreshments at the State House.

President Jonathan’s administration will go into record as one of the most youth friendly governments and with this breed of young pilots testifying it is symbolic that the President has impressed himself on the hearts of Nigerian Youths as the government on whose wings the young can fly!

For commenters who will ask how does this put food on the table or affect the common man. Remember that this were the children of the ordinary and their success will put food on their family and friends' tables and more than anything else bring hope, joy, inspiration and succor to many others. Dare to achieve!

  41. 18 year old Pilot? This is the face of Hope. GEj has sealed it for me. We have hope under this government. To me our government is moving forward but we are angry and angry people are always irrational. One step at a time. GEJ we shall get there you've got my vote, Sir.

Where was Nigerian Airways before Jonathan, How many pilots did nigeria have then? was it not OBJ's fraud that made Richard Branson pull out of the Virgin Nigeria deal. He even wrote about it in a book? Why are we so forgetful? Jonathan revamped the Airports, increased international flight routes, gave Enugu international airport status. New local airways like Medview, First Nation (owned by Tinubu), Discovery Air, Air Peace, Azman Air all came into the Nigerian Airspace under Jonathan. GEJ is more of a solution on every front. Was it GEJ that grounded Nigerian Airways. NO! Please pray that people will not misjudge you in this world. I always feel sorry for Mr. President but Good will always prevail over Evil.

  43. I know one day that truth will always prevail. Thank you Linda for accepting this post and whoever sponsored it, published it, my God will bless. Do yo know how I feel seeing the 18 year old. Guy, NO enemy of Progress can stop me when it is my time.

  44. GEJ thinks we are fools...jst as we massively voted for him dem bcos he had no shoes, we'll vote him out dis time cos he owns every shoes in d nation along wit his caucus. We struggle to go to sch and yet notin to show for it. Entrepreneur like me cnt even strive d way I ought to because of d state of d nation(high exchange rate, epileptic power supply, bad road, high cost of living, etc. GMB for president.

  50. Some people are calling it campaign, I don't blame the illeterates... They are already certified and licensed Pilots or na four weeks dem dey take train person for aviation school? To acquire your professional commercial license takes 2 years minimum while flying lessons na 1 year. You Nigerians can never be satisfied. Sai Goodluck.
Instead of you to be praying... Your life could be better than this you know?

  54. smh - I support Buhari, but laudable project; however, when u employ 20 out of tens of millions of unemployed and celebrate that, then it is 0.00000002%. UK Ministry of Defense says it has information about the missing Chibok girls but cannot share it with Nigeria because according to them, revealing details of what it found about the whereabouts of the abducted girls would clearly damage its relationship with Nigeria and other allies.
