A LIB reader sent in the photo - allegedly showing students of Faculty of Education (UNILAG) receiving lectures in an overcrowded lecture hall, and sitting on the floor. More pics after the cut...
The government and the school body know about these situations in the higher institutions but they wait for 100 years before a take a look not to mention taking a working step. Not cool at all. Col 3:14. @Bishop_Dammy
Lol. They should be grateful they even saw a clean floor to sit on lol. Tho what am seeing in the pics above ain't overcrowding to me #onelovefromsnow#
Don't really understand d construction of dat "lecture hall" its too flat, there should be calculated gradients in form of steepy stairs or steps. How can someone sitting @ d back see what d lecturer is doing? & to think of lecture hall with "mobile" plastic chairs is beyond me! With how rich unilag is & this poor infrastructure is an insult to unilag students, & someone said its 1 of d best 5 lecture halls in d sch! Guess there's a gud reason OAU is called Great Ife
Rubbish! This is what you call "over crowded"?!!! Go to Unizik during GS 101 and see what over crowded is. People still have spaces to seat and stretch their legs and you call that "over crowded".
Asin I tire come oou mini campus and see the definition of overcrowded in maths Sci dept many years ago sef. I just laughed when I saw fan rolling and legs being stretched, mschew u go dey outside classroom dey try listen from window. Hehehhe great oouites!

Sister you are sooo blinded by your bias for GEJ so muchBut dosnt allow you even reason or think properly. U are a mother snd upur child deserves better than you wish yourself. Do consider that ahead of your TRIBALISTIC tendencies. Thank u
If dem no give dis person wey send dis pix admission now, she go dey vex and sayy naija dey corrupt. Wetin dey overcrowd 4 here now. Na today, e don tey.
So in other words THIS SITUATION is ok and conducive and the pic sender should be grateful right? Am doo sorry for your folks that wasted money on your education ...Free Advice: Know your rights and demand for them!
Unilag is better come to uniport and see what overcrowding is.... we even sit on the windows plus no source of ventilation.... so Unilag rejoice and be glad Bcos there are schools u are better than
lol...Aunty Linda, this one na child's. Try and visit RSUST, during Prof. Chioma Okpara's ENG class, then you'll know wwhat it means for a lecture hall to be overcrowded.
Did someone just write jonathan is working..... JEZ... u see d issue why nigeria is where we are today? we wait for the government to do evryfin for us and apparently blame dem for any mess up, whether they caused it or not.. why not hold NUC,UNILag itself, or even the state governor.... jonathan this, jonathan that....!!! God help us all.
What a pity! The Educational and Health system are the worst sectors in Nigerian economy presently. Hmmm!!!! The future is bright! Amen! #wewontlosehope
see space anyhow in this hall. come to Uniben basement and see what overcrowded means or better still our classes in faculty then.Greatest Unibest!!!! I just think they need more chairs and tables in this hall. Ms_Oyinkansola
Like the person who sent in the pix is a fresher....this is not crowded na just lack of seats. they even have light and tiled floor in the hall, come to unijos and see where lectures are taken in a crowded and dark hall.
I read some comments that show how oblivious people have become to crazy state of naija. If you don't call out the leaders that promised you good education, infracstructures etc ,the poor state of the country would never change. Instead people would rather have the status quo and travel to Malaysia, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and the likes to get education smh
Pay school fees and they will riot. You get what you pay for. Awoof na hin dey run belle. In most advanced societies, the school fees is used to get more lecturers. The lecturers then split the class into 4 or 5 groups. This way, you can give the best to your population.
The person who posted this picture is definitely not a student of the faculty of education. As a matter of fact, this particular glass house is among the best 5 lecture halls in Unilag. It has an average capacity of 300 people, eight good and working air condition, average ventilation and very good chairs(though not enough). Pls be objective in whatever you post.
na today!!!! this has always happened na, and if you dont attend the lecture na war...more space is needed in lag... i dont understand the stupid UBA recreational park they built...they shld just convert it into classes or hotels...shikena...
1. The courses offered are 2 much 2. The classes are not conducive & 3. If u try ur best and pass, there will be no work and leta they ll say dah the rate of armed robbery is high in the country........ Mtscheeeew....... Stingy old men *thamixbreed*
