    1. NIGERIA IS REALLY GROWING. BUT IF YOU ARE IN STATES CONTROLLED BY APC LIKE LAGOS U WONT FEEL IT. LAGOS IS VERY DIFFICULT AND UNREALISTIC TO LIVE IN. THE GOVERNMENT HAS NO HUMAN FACE.THE LEADERS ARE VERY CORRUPT AND GREEDY.

    2. I second that Lagos is lagging behind or the govt here is hell bent on sabotaging GEJ. All other states are enjoy power and other amenities more than lagos. There's light 247 in my village. Other people are not complaining the way lagosians do.

  16. GEJ till 2023. Let them keep calling him clueless while he is laying a foundation for a great Nigeria. No wonder America is jealous. They thought if they stop buying our oil Nigeria will crumble but GEJ answered them with agric transformation. The refused to sell arms to us to fight Boko haram , our military answered them with will power. By the way they have not succeeded in Afgan or Yemen or Iraq where they have booth on ground.

  18. Look here, this nonsense about the economy means nothing to the ordinary Nigerian----means NOTHING UNLESS IT TRANSLATES TO FOOD ON THE TABLE. They just want to have a good laugh at our expense and they want to open our eyes to the real meaning of words like Economy, GDP, wealth, etc. Your economy is better, yet the other person has a much more higher standard of living GENERALLY. Bunkum!

  34. APC - Fans should read and forward this article to their presidential candidate. We can't understand why we should be in the 21st century and APC will still be so bold to present to Nigerians a candidate with medieval thinking and mind set. I don't understand why they should keep insulting our intelligence as a nation.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Which Economy is climbing, mtchhhhh , the rebased GDP is what is written by the present administration to make it look as if they were doing good, how can u say an economy is growing when the standard of living of a greater % of the population is low, when unemployment is so high, when our currency is depreciating by day, when inflation is high even with the high rate of unemployment,(bc the two a suppoed to v inverse rlationship in the real sense,). What does Nigeria export, oil, the price in the international mrk has fallen so how is the economy climbing. Anyway the rebased GDP is only for a sellected few in Nigeria (elite).

    ReplyDelete
  101. And yet GEJ has failed us....ndi uchu!

  103. And who say Nigeria is not moving ahead?

I pity UK, i said it about 2 months ago, that the rate which the citizen allow their leaders to leads them, UK will one day become the poorest country in the world, mark my words, it is going to happen soon unless the citizen stands up and say NO to the islamilization of their country.

    I pray for them.

"i go collect everybody statement for this matter" was the first thing Okoro had to say. The store manager told him the little he could, as Dabota could not put her words into coherent sentences.
"Madam all this cry wey u dey cry no go carry your pikin come out o. make you cooperate with me" Okoro said, sizing her up. " my daughter is missing. Charise Ala Gogo. she is four years old. i turned around to choose an apple for her over there and now she is missing" Dabota said pointing towards the fruit stand.
"wetin she dey wear? describe am" he asked writing or pretending to write down something on a scrap of paper
" a green gown with a tiara in front and the inscription baby princess and her pink barbie sunglasses" Dabota replied.
"tara? wetin be tara?" Okoro asked obviously confused.
"TIARA T I A R A" Dabota answered him looking even more confused.
" wetin be dat one? tiara" Okoro asked her looking around
"Oga na dat kain crown wey dem dey wear for beauty contest and wedding" one of the shop attendants explained to him.
"O crown na dat one you for talk na madam" he said scribbling some more "what of the father of the pikin you don call am?"
    "No" Dabota answered.
" make you better call am now. i no know how you go manage misplace your pikin for inside here. abi dem don kidnapp am?" Okoro told her, folding his scrap of paper into his front pocket. At the mention of kidnapp, Dabota wailed even louder.

  137. So on one sunday afternoon in 2014, our (Nigeria's) GDP suddenly overtook that of South Africa. But who is really laughing? The statistic has no bearing on the standard of living or quality of life of the citizenry. Poverty is at 60%. Unemployment and under-employment nko? The cheapest mass housing units cost at least N5m/unit (for a one- bedroom apartment in ikorodu!) and you have to make a 30% down payment. Where will Mama Kafaya get this kind of money from abi does the government not have her in mind? I saw a campaign ad along airport road touting this 'GDP rebasing exercise' as an accomplishment by Jonathan's government. SMH! We still have the third largest number of poor people in the world! This election thing puts one between a rock and a hard place. .
