MTNF MUSON Alumni turn-up Valentine

'If music be the food of love, let it play on'. Nothing expresses love like music especially when enjoyed in a cosy and festive atmosphere; this year's Valentine festivities did not disappoint lovers of good music.

To commemorate the day, the  Alumni association of the prestigious MUSON School of Music, the MTNF/MUSON Scholars, set the tone for the celebrations with a concert tagged the MTNF/MUSON Alumni Valentine concert. The concert featured different music genres from jazz, funk, blues, upbeat folklores and string instruments, which serenaded the audience with love medleys.

In 2007, MTNF partnered with MUSON to assist brilliant but indigent students fulfill their dreams of pursuing a career in music. As part of the partnership, the Foundation took full responsibility of sponsoring 220 students in the music school. In addition to tuition, MTNF covered book allowance and transportation stipend to facilitate movement of the students throughout the duration of the programme.

The sponsorship has obviously had a major impact in the lives of the beneficiaries as attested to by the performance of the night.
