Graphic photos: Corpse of rape victim dumped in Imo community

The nude corpse of a lady was discovered a day after Valentine's day on Sunday Feb. 15th at Okwu village in Umunneato autonomous community in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.

The corpse had bruises all over, especially around the breasts and private parts, leading people to believe she was brutally raped and murdered. The identity of the victim or her age is still unknown. The people who discovered her body called the police who came to remove the corpse.

The witness who saw her body told a Vanguard reporter "I am not too sure that it was a case of ritual killing because no part of the girl, on the face value, was missing. It is, to me, a case of brutal gang-raping to death of the unfortunate girl.” See the very graphic photos after the cut



The body of the girl had been moved to the morgue of Aboh Mbaise General Hospital.
