Dear LIB readers: I'm obsessed with virgin hair and clothes

I really need you guys help in my life. I am obsessed with virgin hair
and clothes and it's driving my boyfriend crazy. I can't go a month
without buying clothes and virgin hair. I know almost all the companies
online because of my crave for them. I spend half of my day searching
for virgin hair and clothes online to the extend that I lie to my ex and
relatives to get money from them and my problem is that I don't buy the
cheap ones I buy the expensive ones. I spend all my up keep money on them
and it's driving me crazy. My boyfriend is tired of me and I don't know
what to do to stop this. Please help

I decided to be using my natural hair almost a year ago and it has been the best decision I made! My only regret is not doing it sooner!!! As for clothes, stop being so materialistic, there is more to life than the material things this world has to offer :)

You are a shopaholic and its a psychological thing which can be cured. You may have to see a psychiatrist. Its not spiritual. Some people have such problem and they will keep buying even when they don't need it. Its the same thing with hoarders, they will never get rid of anything. I believe you can get a good psychiatrist in Nigeria. Its something you can work on and with time, you will get over it.
Simple...get yourself a job at a fashion house. You'll get good discounts and use your knowledge to make money...at least, u won't have to lie to obtain monet anymore. You might also want to get yourself a boyfriend who amongst other things is very tripped by fashion. However, there's this word called 'DISCIPLINE '. You might want to practice it.

People don't realise how hard it is to stop a particular behaviour you are obsessed with or addicted to, it is really hard no matter what that behaviour is, some serious than others. My advise for you is that you take it day by day and step by step, if you stop it at once, you will go back to it, so try to reduce how often you buy it and before you know, you will get rid of the bad habits.
Nice shoes... but pls allow ppl enjoy their hard earned money on themselves rather than spending it on your stupid desires. Go get deliverance and get a life... *hiss*

In fact am presently in a fight with my boyfriend over this same issue.if I don't buy clothes in a week I won't be happy and I have so many types of hair at home but I keep buying new ones.you are not alone...I need help too
Give out some of your stuff. That's the nice things (nothing old). You need to ask yourself why you feel the need to buy so much stuff all the time. Nothing wrong with spending your money; after all money is meant to be spent. But, try giving sha.

See a shrink. There is an underlying deficit you are trying to satisfy. For some. They use overeating to handle the issued and they get to be 200kg. In your case you are going to start stealing or prostituting to feed the habit and that will be terrible

Lack of self esteem period. I have a friends wife who was like that she even use feeding allowance to buy hair and cloth. My friend had to talk to her and cut off all allowance for a while and make her see reason for that. but it was not easy You need help that all.

You have an underlying problem of low self esteem. You need to join a support group or form friendships that add value to who you are. You can also engage in activities that help others, that way you tend to create a sense of self worth for yourself. I've a neighbour just like dis girl, her (my nebor) own is so bad dat, she went 2 a distributor 2get clothes, shoes n bags worth 700k 2 resell only 4 dis girl 2 transport dis goods 2 her room n started wearing dis goods....wen d distributors calls, she give 1 story 2 d oda dat, she had 2 call anoda nebor dat works in a bank 2 snap a bunch of money 2 her so dat she could send 2 d distributor n say d queue at d bank was much, so she had 2 leave..... her condition is so bad dat, she can't get her eyes off any1 dat sells wears, she's owning about 22 tenants outta 42 rooms. With all dis attitudes, d only person dat can help people like dis is 2 give their lives 2 Christ.
