Born-again confessors return certificates to WAEC! Hehe

Better people. So on page 43 of Punch Newspaper today is an advert by West Africa Examination Council, WAEC, where candidates, now born-again & seeking restitution, confessed to hiring people to sit exams for them. Not only did they confess, they also returned their certificates to the exam body! In all, 178 people were involved. Is this hope for a new Nigeria? When are you joining them? Yes, I'm talking to you! You know someone sat for you too...lol

Moreover, dat na before. Na before dem dey sit for people. Nowadays, you go register for miracle centre, write the exam with your own hand as you read the answers from the board or expo. In essence, not only impersonation, but also not using your brain to need to go make restitution. How many people born again?

  94. It's a serious matter Linda, if one must make heaven, he or she must have to take d issue of restitution seriously. Nt d first time i have seen dis, I know a brother that did same bt in his case he was 4given.

    ReplyDelete
  95. May the Lord forgive their sins

    ReplyDelete

  99. Love it. But if they now have degrees, does that mean that they give back their certificates? Technically, yes. What about their jobs, which for now, are premised on results that never existed? If na oyibo man, you lose that too. I applaud their courage.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Same here, but I can't return any thing.

    ReplyDelete
  101. I did mine myself...I'm not an olodo :P

  103. The kind of question that WAEC, NECO, JAMB etc asked in their exams papers are most times beyond these candidates. They don't also bother if their candidates were properly thought by the school teachers.
In Nigeria, exam malpractise; impersonation, chukuli, writing on the board etc will continue to happen at O-Level exams except proper teaching,learning/ equipment and hard-work by the candidates are seriously done. Also school proprietors and principals should not see exams as a means of making more money. My take.

    ReplyDelete
  104. I recall some years ago when pastors called the television 'the devil's box', my uncle dumped his 24" telly in a deep well.
Today, a pastor has not arrived if he does not show face for telly.
Some of these born again returning their certificates committed the crime as far back as 1992!

    ReplyDelete
  105. Let them release the one i sat for on my own which they withheld, then I wil consider weda to confess that their examiners collected 2k paper passing fee....to alow me finish the question even after the allocated time elapse.......hehehe

    ReplyDelete
  106. Hummmm lindaaaaaaaaaa, talk true who write for u

    ReplyDelete
  107. Linda I hope this set of people will be faithful with all they have achieved with the certificate since they acquired. They ought to return all those things too, wife, husband, children inclusive. In fact, they should start all over, they should take their lives back to the age they acquired it.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Interesting, change starts with you and with me, and we will push it further to kick out this non-performing govt! Yayyyy!

    ReplyDelete
  109. Restitution is not a prerequisite of justification , wee are justified becos God has forgiven us. The bible says let him who stole steal no more. It did not say let him who stole restitute all he stole. It was in the Jewish law that any one who steals should repay all he stole with interest and even if he can't repay it he should offer himself as a slave to pay. To God be the glory I am not under the law anymore all sins forgiven. The theif on the cross did jesus tell him to go and restitute all he stole? Mary Magdalene did Jesus tell her to restitute her adulterous act before she makes heaven? Deeper life church mix works with salvation and think that their works will take them to heaven. Only the blood of Christ guarantees heaven.

    ReplyDelete
  110. They should go to jail for exam malpractice if they truely wanna show how much they have been faithful...ODE

    ReplyDelete
  114. Aunty Lindodo you no wan see my face? U no dey post my comment, I offend u?

    ReplyDelete
  115. In a sane country, they should then be tried and sent to jail. But here we praise them! they should complete the restitution by also returning their Bsc results, masters or Phd degrees and all the money they've earned using that false certificate. ''holier than thou''

    ReplyDelete
  116. Personally i think it's worthy of commendation.
And it's not just deeper life. Mfm and pastor Adeboye also preach restitution.
Stories abound of people who were turned back from heaven because of not righting wrongs done to others.

    ReplyDelete
  117. ignorant on rampage.. na dem kill jesus na... no b only WAEC to submit but also their university degree too. so make dem re-wite WAEC again.lol
