We will not hesitate forming a parallel govt, if the 2015 elections are rigged - APC

In its new year message to Nigerians, the APC said that it would not hesitate to form a parallel government if the general elections holding in February is rigged. The party however that it would congratulate President Jonathan if the elections are free and fair.
“As a party, we assure you that we will congratulate president Goodluck Jonathan and his party, PDP if our presidential candidate and party are defeated in free and fair elections, and we will not go to court. However, as a party, we wish to reiterate, that we will not hesitate forming a parallel government, if the 2015 election are rigged either by the use of security agencies (police or military) to harass, intimidate and cajole voters or through the use of a compromise Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC).” APC said in a statement signed by it's chairman, John Oyegun

    The statement Chief Oyegun made is in order. There must be a level playing field for all involved, if APC also attempted to manipulate the election let the pdp equally form a parallel government. In a society where nothing works is becoming very worrisome. Insecurity despite the promises of the CDS, the BH is still having their day while the CDS and other Agencies are comfortably in their offices holding sway. Do u want us to talk about Nepa or what? What keep any government in place for reelection is the ability to be up and doing in governance. I think let both parties face Nigerian on a public debate for us to know the direction we might take. It is food for thought.

    Parallel or horizontal God will see us through.minewhile these forthcoming election remine the election in coteivoire 2010 between gbagbo and Qattara whereby Gbagbo the incumbent lost out to the opposition(qattara) which eventually lead to war the two declared themselves winner simultaneously.the oppostion president took refuge in a hotel while gbagbo retained the govt house until he was removed forceful by rebellious military just as we now have the boko haram fighting indirectly on behalf of APC.however I pray our own election don't degenerate to this level in jesus name amen.my fellow Nigerians donot allow yourself to be used as as a tool to cause commotion. There own children are schooling and working in the best places .so go out and vote for any person that represents your political believe and ideology and if eventually the person donot perform u still have another election 4yrs later to remove the person or the political party in question. They have only said something that has a condition attached to it and if that condition is fulfilled,they would congratulate the president and his party. The condition they have given is very clear.....NO RIGGING OF ELECTIONS SHOULD BE DONE COS THEY WONT ACCEPT SUCH AND THEY WOULD GO TO COURT TO CHALLENGE SUCH.

    I am really disappointed by some of the comments am seeing on this platform. It's a clear indication that we that acclaimed to be future leaders of tomorrow are oblivion of certain actions and inaction of this present administration. My comment is not to take side with APC but I think they provide a better option as evidence in the performances of their state governors. Oyegun comment is just to stimulate us to protect our vote come February, 2014 as PDP is ready to rig the coming election. You all should grow up as you are the worst hit of a bad governance.
