World leaders including David Cameron of United Kingdom,
Angela Merkel of Germany, Isreal's Benjamin Netanyahu and others joined French president and
thousands of France nationals in a solidarity march on the streets
of Paris this afternoon to protest the killing of 12
Charlie Hebdo cartoonists. The march began in
Place de la République and will end at Place de la Nation. More pics after the cut...
Just hope all the culprits will be apprehended. Nice show of concern from them.

The only conclusion, I can draw from this is that these people are more organized and not self centred. Not one single person blames d Govt ova there bcos they know that terrorism is an act of violence dat must be eradicated but here in nigeria, d president is blamed for every single thing bcos some useless 'concerned mumu Nigerians' refuse to see d root of d problem. D Army is doing their best and I commend dem. Terrorism will one day be a thing of d past. GEJ till 2019
DeleteI will not vote for Buhari concerned citizen!..BH activities heightened after 2011 elections with his threat and he failed to speak up against violence! . Voting him is allowing him benefit from what he caused! I Will not vote Buharam!

DeleteThe world knows Nigeria can win boko but chose to be playing politics with its citizens life.
DeleteHas the President and Commander in Chief of the Nigeria citizens and his Armed Forces ever address the nation as a whole with regards to the terrorist attacks, he hasn't cus he dosent give a damn and he has d gut to campaign to the same citizens to vote for him for another four years, and some will still vote for him and you want the world to take us serious or empathise with us, when we as a citizens of this great nation are seen as a joke by our leaders cus in a sane environment GEJ wouldn't even win his party nomination talk less of campaigning to be re- elected. So what do u expect from d outside world. Heaven help those who help themselves
DeleteWe have to start caring for ourselves before others do. What has the Nigerian government and Nigerians done to show they care and solidarity. Africans want the whites to solve all our problem # lack of initiative

DeleteUntil the world sees that the citizens are tired and that we have had enough,I doubt if they'll stick their necks out for cowards like us.
Seeing as we don't value the lives of our ppl here why should we expect them to for us after all our so called president is blinded by his ambition & was dancing in Kano a day after wayyy over 12 that were killed in France were killed here. Foreign governments must see us as a joke. We are not yet sure how many ppl were killed yesterday & not a single word or acknowledgement by our supposed leader. It's sad to say but we are a joke. People are being massacred daily but all we say is "dear Lord" & move on with our lives like it's all good simply cause it hasn't gotten to our doorstep yet.

ReplyDeleteThis can't happen in Nigeria na. Most of these pot bellied politicians will just slump and die. I wonder if they even exercise at all. Good of them. Shows how they value human lives.
ReplyDeleteWhen you see a country that value human lives you will know, this one of my major reasons I hate this present government, they don't give a dam if 10,000 people die in a day,we should all have it in our mind that we re in a semi WAR,the war is all ready on,the rich all know about it,that is why they re spending billions to buy jet,and they no longer invest in this country,GOD save us all**EMZEALLOUS**

The rest of the world will only show solidarity with us when we show seriousness.
ReplyDeleteThe leaders must show selflessness. The people must show they can take control of the process and elect credible leaders.
When the people, too, seem contented with the kind of leadership they have and life they live, everybody too will sit down and look at us.
It took France two days to get the perpetrators of the act. Which incidence in Nigeria can you show government resolve to get perpetrators?
When Nigerians are ready, the rest of the world will support us!

ReplyDeleteThe funny thing about life is, when you do bad, it will come right back to you.
Europeans and Americans will never see any peace, if they continue to fund wars, because of their own agendas, in so-called third world countries.
As for Africans, sooner or later, we must see the light.
I pray for all those lives lost, be it in Europe, the Americas, Asia, or on the African continent.

ReplyDeleteI am NOT Charlie because I respect other peoples’ belief
I am NOT Charlie because I will NOT thrive on provoking other faiths.
I am NOT Charlie because if you find it offensive, then it’s offensive.
I am NOT Charlie because where my freedom ends is where yours begins
I am NOT Kouachi because my faith dictates that vengeance is the Lord’s, He will repay.
No sermon on tolerance is complete without a lesson on provocation.
No lecture on freedom is complete without a moral on the cost of freedom.
No human can manage infinite freedom.
I am of the opinion we don’t have to agree with each other’s feelings, opinion, culture, religion or views, but we must sensitively respect them.
