Photos: Police gives families of missing police officers N500k each as compensation

Six families of policemen who were declared missing after Boko Haram attacked the Police Mobile Training College in Gwoza, Borno state on August 20th 2014 have been compensated with N500,000 each by the Force Headquarters.

At a ceremony which held yesterday at the Police Mobile Force 50 Base, Kubwa Abuja, the wives of the missing soldiers were presented with cheques and the police promised to pay them the salaries of their missing husbands for one year. More photos after the cut...

    Aunty pls I want to come up with a suggestion. Can we have a programm maybe once in a week or so, where people who have can give out to the needy? We have some people that have in essence and some people who are poor among us. Maybe used clothes, bags, baby needs and so on.     Since August and the families are just getting some compensation?? Imagine how much they have been suffering since then. Also, the compensation is not enough; they should also pay the children's school fees, give the families free medical treatment, etc. And they should pay them a monthly stipend for much longer than a year. Policemen and their families really suffer a lot while their corrupt big ogas grow fat on diverted funds. Sad!

    when they are killed in active service 100 thausand is released on behaif of the deceeds out of which they will buy coffin buy petrol to their truck that will carry the corpse and his wife and children and property because aireddy another officer has been given thier apartment
