Nigerian used friend's ID to get free NHS treatment & UK citizenship for baby

30 year old Nigerian Seun Adenubi (pictured left) used the passport of her friend, 32 year old Rita Ogunkunle (pictured right) to obtain free care in the UK. She had been planning to use the NHS as an 'International Health Service to deliver her child and then have the child declared a British citizen using her friend's identity but unfortunately for her she was discovered by the hospital where she delivered. Both Seun and Rita have now been charged with fraud. Read the full story after the cut...

  43. Healthcare is a human right. The pregnant woman should not have gone to such lengths to receive care or citizenship for her child. If the UK doesn't want legal visitors to benefit from its health sceme, it shouldn't let them in. If they're in, their kids are British and they and should be accorded full health benefits and care.

Free healthcare in d NHS is only meant for tax payers and British/EU citizens and dat does not include legal visitor from Nigeria
