I will address my certificate issue tomorrow, 9am - Buhari

Gen Buhari will address all controversies surrounding his academic certificates at a press conference tomorrow, January 21st by 9am in Kano. The APC presidential candidate made this known through the Director of the APC's Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.

    Instead of facing real issues about security, jobs for the youths of this great nation, the economy, energy etc, we allow ourselves to be drawn into mundane issues by the politicians! All the yeye certificates and #oluwole phd being paraded and # dogo#turenchi by our ruling elites and armchair economists have not been able to guaranteed us uninterrupted power supply since the colonial masters left! The middle class have gone extinct and nobody is asking how the contestants hope to bring changes. Carrying all the certificates in this world and talking oyibo pass American man does not make you a Messiah that will depart from the status quo and bring the much needed change. Let us lay less emphasis on technicalities and face the real issues at hand as this might just be the last chance to get it right as a nation before things fall apart irredeemably.

    I have gone through several ignorant comments by apc supporters here on this blog and so I am constrained to clarify some issues:

    1. Buhari have contested three times without presenting his certificate because prior to 2014 the INEC form only required candidates to state their qualification and nothing more. But now the new INEC form required candidates to attach their certificate to the form.
    2. Since the Nig Army stated that Buhari didn't submit any certificate when he joined army in 1961 it means that he enlisted by fraud which is also CORRUPTION.
    3. Since Buhari stated in his Affidavit with INEC that his certificate is with the Army and the Army denied it, it means that Buhari lied on Oath and have Committed PERJURY.
    4. The argument that Buhari obtained Diploma in a USA war college while in the Army does not hold water. Because the basis upon which such diploma or masters was obtained is on falsehood and already faulty. YOU CANNOT PUT SOMETHING ON NOTHING AND EXPECT IT TO STAND. Afterall, universities expell students in their final year because they didn't have their waec at the point of entry even though such students might have subsequently acquired a waec after matriculation.
    5. INEC has the power to disqualify Buhari for not meeting the basic requirements and thereby being ineligible to contest.
    6. Even if Buhari is allowed to contest and he wins, the court will surely throw him out in a post election petition on the INELIGIBILITY.
    7. Even if Buhari wins and is sued on the above reason, GEJ being the incumbent can obtain an order to maintain the status quo until the court case is determined. This means that GEJ may not hand over beyond May 29th.
    8. If it is absolutely proved that Buhari joined the Army without the required certificate it means that his title as a Retired General can be stripped from him, because it was acquired on falsehood.
    9. If Buhari cannot provide his certificate by 9am tomorrow the best thing for APC to do is to replace him with someone else; otherwise they are building castle on sand!
    10. The law must be obeyed no matter whose ox is gored!!!
