GEJ can't fight corruption even if he's given 60 years to rule" - APC

The opposition party APC has responded to president Jonathan's plan to institute anti-corruption programmes is re-elected next month, saying that even if he's given 60 more years, he can't fight corruption, because 'a corrupt government can never fight corruption.'

The APC said this in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
"Mr. President said he wants to put in place the institutions to tackle corruption before taking on the cankerworm that has almost destroyed the fabric of our society. Pray, whatever happened to the EFCC and the ICPC? Were they not institutions specifically created for the purpose of tackling corruption, but which the Jonathan administration chose to castrate? There is no better way to say this: Pres. Jonathan lacks the political will to tackle corruption, and he will not tackle it if he spends 60 years in office.”
"A President who has spent the last six years trying to diagnose the main problems facing the country will apparently need another four years to plan how to tackle the challenges. By then, all of us would have been buried under the rubble of corruption and our country would have been decimated by insecurity. It is therefore time for Nigerians to vote in a President who will hit the ground running, a President who will tackle the problems of corruption and insecurity headlong, without giving excuses for
failure.”

    4. Royal priesthood, that saying "the devil you know is better than the angel you don't know" is a big fat fallacy. It should have been "the devil you know may be better or worse than the angel you don't know". Time for you to start thinking about what you hear before you swallow it hook line and sinker.

  8. Since I was born, no government has been corruption free, they are all thieves, and they are all Northerners..when was the last time that someone from another tribe ruled Nigeria last?, just because someone else assumed the presidential seat, the want to make it ungovernable for him..am not GEJ's fan but northerners want to dorminate everywhere..

    1. Does it matter where a leader comes from? Al we need is someone who can truely lead. GEJ cannot...so let's try someone else. Point blank!

    2. No government has been corruption free, correct. They have all been northerners, wrong. You can't have zero corruption where you have human beings, however you can reduce it to a point where it has negligible effect on the economy, infrastructure, standard of living etc. As for the someone else assuming the presidential seat and their making it ungovernable, Obasanjo was there and they didn't make it ungovernable for him. I'll tell you my true feelings, if you're a president and you can't deal with people who make trouble, you let the people you lead suffer, which is unacceptable.

  20. Maybe true, but it's because of those "Born to Rule" Fulani / Hausa mafia within APC and PDP. The Fulanis, especially, are very, very crooked, corrupt and demonic. They don't care about Nigeria. They don't care Nigerians. They don't care about you. ISLAMIC SHARIA LAW loving Fulani / Hausa politicians are SELF-INTEREST politicians and the passionately hate CHRISTIANS and anyone from SOUTHERN NIGERIA. As long as they stash billions of dollars in offshore "FAMILY TRUST" for themselves and their bloodsucking families, they don't care if y'all beg for food on the streets. Islamic Fulani / Hausa people ruled Nigeria for over 40 years, but due to mass-looting by Islamic Fulani / Hausa people, Nigeria have nothing since independence cos of those thieving and corrupt Islamic Fulani / Hausa people. Since 6 years ago, change has, already, come to Nigeria. Buhari and his thugs (BOKO HARAM) ensured you didn't see change. GEJ STOPPED Fulani / Fulani domination of seat of power. Buhari and Fulani / Hausa people hate GEJ for interrupting Northern dominance of the seat of power. Fulani / Hausa people perpetually want the rest of Nigeria to be their slaves. They bullied, hounded and terrorised GEJ, Nigeria and Nigerians. If Buhari can bully, hound and terrorise GEJ, an elected President, it shows him for the EVIL creature he is and it shows your human rights is not save with Buhari the Islamic DICTATOR and DEMONIC TYRANT. Fulani / Hausa people steal billions of dollars on a daily basis. It has to stop. Fulani / Hausa people use Boko Haram to massacre people, it has to stop. For the problems in Nigeria, you must blame Fulani / Hausa leaders and politicians for corruption, sabotage of GEJ's administration and sabotage of Nigeria's economy. They all should be jailed for life for TREASON. PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN (GEJ) is an innocent man. GEJ's administration was maliciously sabotaged by demonic BUHARI, ATIKU, EL RUFAI and blood sucking Fulani / Hausa people. GEJ IS AN INNOCENT MAN. If GEJ wasn't named Goodluck, his parents would have name him INNOCENT or EMMANUEL. Holy. Fear not. BUHARI WILL BE DEFEATED AND HUMILIATED, AGAIN. Believe. God is with GEJ. GEJ will be re-elected as PRESIDENT AND COMMANDER IN CHIEF OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA. SO IT IS. AMEN.

  21. The problems in this country didn't start 6yrts ago so GEJ shouldn't be blamed for trying to fix d problems d way he can. Everything will take time to normalize biko

    1. Please don't blame time by saying "it would take time to normalise". It would take the will of a true leader and his people to normalise it. GEJ does not have that will. POINtBLanK

    1. Please have a rethink...our people are dying...A leader Should Step in and calm things down no matter what. GEJ is not doin this. Just recently 40 boys were abducted, numerous old people have been Slaughtered and some of these disheartening videos are all over the place online. This is a buildup of war ooo. Abeg let somebody else try. We can't continue with wats killin Nigerians massively. It will get to the Southwest, southeast and Northcentral soon if nothin drastic is done. Please have a rethink

  25. I cant stop laughing my thoughts out about this bogus propaganda.
The question should be,can we all collectively fight corruption?.Obviously GEJ cant fight corruption even if he is given 2000 years until we all decieve to have attitudinal change and review of psychology of thoughts...cos believe it or leave it.....Man is a corrupt animal since he is laden with the weight of greed and wants which according to beliefs is part and parcel of man.
Even in advance countries corruption still exist amidst of their stiffer measures.
So the fight about corruption should begin when all our political leaders tells the world why they are richer than the country just from active politics......maybe then, u and I will become ready to follow.
But until then, the fight against corruption begins with u and me.

buhari the solution. Nigerians are the problem.
When we begin to shift our perception and
perspective towards realising faults do not come
from others but from ourselves, the world
    would be a better place.
    That is how change starts.
