Buhari represents darkness while GEJ represents light - FFK

Spokesperson of the PDP presidential campaign organisation Femi Fani-Kayode has described APC's presidential flag bearer as a rep of darkness while President Jonathan represents light. According to him, General Buhari's records are shameful and disastrous. FFK said this while addressing newsmen at the PDP campaign headquarters in Abuja today January 7th
“We wish to inform you that it is our intention to run a clean campaign that is based on facts, figures and issues. We shall not indulge in the type of cheap propaganda, mud-slinging and deceit that the APC and their Presidential candidate have been indulging in over the last few weeks and months but it is our full intention to expose General Muhammadu Buhari for what he really is, what he stands for and the great danger that his candidacy portends for the unity of the Nigerian state and the peace and well-being of the Nigerian people.
More importantly, we shall let the world know about the sterling performance of our candidate, President Goodluck Jonathan, over the last four years and we shall make a strong case and appeal to the Nigerian people to grant him the privilege and opportunity to serve a second term. We believe that we have reached a crossroads in our nation’s history and that the forthcoming Presidential Election is a battle for the very soul and destiny of Nigeria. We believe that it is a struggle between light and darkness. We believe that General Buhari represents the darkness and that President Jonathan represents the light. We believe that General Buhari represents a return to an ugly past which is best forgotten while President Jonathan represents our hope for a greater and better future. We believe that the APC, on which platform General Buhari is contesting the presidential election, represents everything that is unholy and unwholesome in our society and that the PDP represents all that is decent and good. “We believe that the much-vaunted ‘change’ campaign of General Buhari represents nothing but a change from good to evil. If you want a positive change, you cannot expect to get it from a man like General Buhari whose democratic credentials are questionable and whose record in public office is shameful and disastrous. Most people do not remember the atrocities that he committed when he was in power and it is our intention to document them and remind the Nigerian people about them.
Most people have chosen to ignore the number of things that General Buhari has said and the number of things that he has done over the last few months and years that have brought carnage, division and strife in our society and that prove that he is not the sort of person that can be trusted with power. It is our intention to bring those things to the attention of the Nigerian people so that they can make an informed choice. “We do not believe that Nigeria ought to be run by a man that is not capable of tolerating dissent or by a political party like the APC that has no sense of remorse, restraint or decency and that is not capable of accepting a plurality of views. We believe that President Goodluck Jonathan has earned the right for a second term and, in the next few weeks, we shall make a humble appeal to the Nigerian people to vote for him massively in the February 14 Presidential Election. By the grace and power of God, we shall prevail.” he said

  4. If GEJ gets just one vote, that vote will be mine but I just don't support this calling of names. Our politicians should act more mature and reasonable. Carrying propaganda just to get cheap political score is way out of line. They should all take a chill pill and restrategies on how to win the masses

  22. Obasanjo said it aptly. 'Give food to FFK and he will sing for you' He is singing now, obviously they have given him food. sadly, characters like FFK can only ply their trade in places like Nigeria, in saner climes, he will be somewhere in prison serving a very long term. better still, in Japan, he would have committed suicide. But he is in Nigeria, Efcc, nay jonathan have forgiven him, so he can afford to haul insults to anybody opposed to his benefactor.

BUT, a day of reckoning is coming. soon , his type will have no hiding place. not even from Buhari or APC(they are not better) but from the masses whom they have stolen blind from.

meanwhile, let FFK indulge his benefactors and be his true self-an attack dog. smh

Geriatric Buhari, the tyrant, dictator and fake messiah, can't be seen in the dark cos he represents DARKNESS and THE PAST :) Somehow, he looks evil, satanic, unhealthy and emaciated, as if he's starved of oxygen. Is he!? :) I hope Buhari, the self-acclaimed "Mahdi," is not suffering from kwashiorkor. APC's presidential candidates are damn too ugly. The two of them look like extras in a horror movie. I'd be terrified to be stuck in a lift with those two masonic creatures, and NEPA struck. No light! VAMPIRES !!! BLOOD SUCKER on my left !!! BLOOD SUCKER on my right !!! DRACULAS !!! ReplyDelete
  112. Honestly Buhari's past as a leader was quite disastrous, nd d way he's going about this his campaign as if it's a do or die affair is quite scarey. I do pray for change in Nigeria, but not the type of change dat will be brought by a man who donated millions of Naira to support those that wanted to make Africa an Islamic continent, a person who threaten to make his opponents administration ungovernable all because he lost an election, sme1 dat will send all corrupt Nigerians to prison (if I hear), I mean corruption has eaten soo deep into our country dat nybody making such threats is obviously in d dark or just a chronic hypocrite, let's not forget that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely, so as far as politics is involved, there can be no actual Democracy or all the sugar coated promises all dem power hungry Apc members r making in this Country. If it's possible, I think pdp shud just get a new flagbearer, if not, I strongly maintain dat d devil we know is better than the 'angel' we don't know.

  152. Why is Femi like this? He didn't say anything. I thought he was going to present the reasons why Buhari represents darkness and GEJ represents light, because he always presents the facts without fear even if he is one that speaks from both sides of his mouth. Abi Linda you didn't give us the his full address

  153. They intend to run a "clean campaign that is based on facts, figures and issues" yet he goes ahead and draws blood by garrulously spewing innuendoes and indulging in shenanigans.
What is expected of the other party in return, that they bake him a congratulatory cake? Somehow I'm beginning to believe those who swear that this man is usually high on whatever...

  157. NYC-1 Says: Yes! Buhari represents darkness because he will come after you and your likes who have gotten away with our commonwealth; he will throw you into Kirikiri where there is darkness. I guess that is why you and other criminals surrounding Jonathan are scared and fighting desperately to prevent the General from winning. Let me tell you something: if the election is free and fair, Buhari will win a landslide victory. Because Jonathan has nothing to offer the nation. Personally, I know that Jonathan and those military guys occupying strategic positions and who have benefited from his regime will not allow the election to be fair. They will mobilize troops and armed them to the teeth as if they are going after foreign invader; and they will use the troops to rig the election in favor of Jonathan. But I hope the young officers who are being marginalized and sent to fight with "katapoth" will stand up to the occasion and say enough is enough.

  165. Egbon FFK!!!
I have made every effort to pass this message to you. I tried on twitter @FFK but am not too sure if you read the message. The message is simple and straightforward ... Pls for the sake of the future of our country, i will advise the PDP and particularly yourself desist from using religious and ethnicity divisive tactics.

Buhari might have made some derogatory statements or even jailed people during his reign but the fact remains that 12,000 Nigerians never lost their lives during Buhari's reign.

I am a Yoruba man and if i have the opportunity I will vote for Buhari not because of Osibanjo but because I can logically conclude that Jonathan has nothing to offer Nigeria.

Please desist from using religious and ethnicity divisive tactics. it will only worsen situation. I am sure you have millions of dollars to cater for your family if anything goes wrong and don't give a F*** about what happens to Nigeria. Please remember one word POSTERITY

Have a good day Egbon, May GOD guide you right. Amen.

  167. Chief Femi Fani - Kayode knows no shame. Just a few months ago, this same man was bitterly criticizing President Goodluck Jonathan. I still have his articles in my file. He quoted copiously from the Bible in his condemnation of President Good luck Jonathan's administration. fast forward....He has made a 360 degree turn around to become an active disciple of the President, whipping up religious sentiments to garner support for the President. Shameless politician....

  177. This is the more reason Nigerians should think
    before ranting "change". Buhari rejected
National Honour but keeps accepting money
and properties from known corrupt politicians
who are in the same party with him. Buhari's
translation of corruption is only when you are
in PDP, then, once you are in APC, you become
a "saint". Change, my foot. I wish all Nigerian
Youths were educated to see beyond their
    noses. It's a pity.
