Photos: Gov. Ayo Fayose inspects distribution of rice in Ekiti state
Governor Ayo Fayose pictured left supervising the distribution of Christmas rice to indigenes of the state at the governor's office in Ado Ekiti today. See more photos after the cut...
Linda why the f**k are you reporting this, how is this news. I hate the kind of Governance and politics we play in Nigeria, and Linda no disrespect but you don't report this kinda trash else you give them nerves.
It's called freedom of expression and it doesn't matter if you like it or not. Some people do while others don't It's Linda's job to inform the public what is going on around us. That's why it's called NEWS.
Must there be cameras behind everything? Can't people just give without all the paparazzi?? mtchewww... Meanwhile, something urgent needs to be done about poverty in this country. People are suffering
U ar soo quick to insult pdp politicians. . Dat is jus lyk a Christmas gift big head bonario. . If u give wahala if I dnt anoda p.. u tink d money linda jus gave out is nt also for d publicity of her blog.. ugly mofo
SINCE FAYEMI HAS DONE WORKS THAT COVERS 10 YEARS AND FAYOSE HAS NOTHING TO DO FOR THE NEXT 10 YEARS. HE CAN CONTINUE TO DISTRIBUTE RISE ROUND NIGERIA FOR ALL WE CARE. EKITI PEOPLE WANTED RICE & ORORO GOVERNOR, BLESS THEM THEY ONE.
If he gives ingredient, una go ask for pot, if he give pot una go ask for spoon, if he gives all dis, una go still ask for nanny way go spoon feed una. Humans, very insatiable. May God u
Wassup with the distribution of stupid rice huh.. Instead of him to empower the youth and everything and make jobs available...he's giving them rice that would finished in a month. Call me Fola
Operation feed the hungry state. Howmany cups de there and how e wan take sustain larger families? After themeat this now, what next? If na GEJ do this now, Linda will twist the caption. Let them create jobs for the children of these old people that will give a lifetime sustainability.
hmmm... what governance has turned to... the number one man of a state has nothing better to do at the beginning of is tenure other than supervising distribution of rice.... Chei! our life
Cheap governor oppressing poor and gullible nigerians. The old woman is carrying rice worth about $5(5 dollars).Lowest paying work is about $10 (10 dollars per hour) in some countries.
Linda wetin i do u? 4 months nw i've bin postin comment bt u refuse 2 post them...u carry ur black yansh sit down 4 my comments abi..its nt encouragin at all....
Joblessness if you'd ask me. He should have spent the time thinking of how to move the state forward or at the worse, cooling off with some bottles (since he said he still hangs out at beer parlours). Misplaced priority!!!
Waoh!A whole Governor of a state supervising Rice? A misplaced priority I think. What was Ekiti state populations? I don't think they were up to 30millions people both old and young. What stopped Him introducing a SOCIAL WELFARE SYSTEM in his state, at least be the first governor to do that in Nigeria? This services will take care of old people, disable people and unemployed people. This governor lived in abroad before and he knows how the Social Welfare system works here. You ask them to open an account and you credit the account for them. They withdraw their money and use it to buy whatever they want instead of given out Raw and Cooked Rice. I am not advocating for free money here, but this is the right and the best thing to do if he really wanted to reach out to his poor people and feel their pains and agonies. We have more than enough resources in this country to take care of a project like this. The budget for a project like this is not even up to the money stolen away from this state/country.
Ayo, go to your fucking office, sit down and reinvent the fucking bureaucratic system so that you don't have to be distributing rice and Obasanjo chicken. If shit worked, people will not need you distributing scrawny chickens to them. They will be writing you nice christmas cards to celebrate what you have done. Let us stop this white man's "feed the poor" antic. What I know of Nigerians is that they are FUCKING hard working people. They don't like to beg but have been reduced to freaking beggars because of incompetence and sheer thievery. Fix those two things and holler - Na you go dry receive chicken. Time is flying and everyday you spend time sharing chicken instead of fixing the system, a couple of people die from the incompetence. You should feel that weight on your shoulders.
What a shame! A state Governor supervising distribution of 10kg bags of rice. So their is no one amongst the multitude of aides and civil servants in Ekiti State that can carry out this exercise. This Rice for infrastructure, education and development shows how low we have descended.
Hmmmmm,Very thoughtful of him this is a season of giving and sharing I see nothing wrong in what his doing,no matter how little at least some people who cannot afford to buy rice for Christmas will be happy with this.may you never celebrate christmas without food in your home IJN,have experienced it once it wasn't a pleasant experience
Fayose the food prefect. Can't someone call this man to order? Go n see d massive development in lagos Edo jigawa and seek tutelage under these govs .Enuf of these comic relief in d name of governance

As a matter of fact, it is glearing dat Ekiti people are seriously hungry and at d same time, d governor is visionless and purposeless enough for him to knw dat, giving out fish does not solve d problem other dan teaching how to fish for demselves. For crying out loud, how many people wil be d beneficiary of dis, how many days can dis fed a family of six members and for how long can dis program last in dis administration? Dis has really proven dat, Ekiti are educated illiterate to discover a visionless man like Fayose. Very sorry for u all.

it really saddens me to see what we have been reduced to in this country. How is sharing rice going to help these people... after eating the rice where would they find their next meal? create jobs and put these kids in school and you would never have to share rice again.... encourage sustainability!
Advantages of A Good Rice Cooker: A non-stick bowl. The glass lid. An wear out outlet. Is that all what it takes to eliminate your stove predicament? Nicely yes! Buying what type of rice cooker is another topic. I want to demonstrate the rice heaven you'll step into after you have this work-saving smart item in your kitchen shelf. Let’s begin.
