Ekiti state governor Ayo Fayose reportedly distributed about 80,000 chickens, 100,000 bags of rice and cash gift to the people of Ekiti State between Thursday and yesterday under the stomach infrastructure progamme of his administration for the Christmas celebration. See more pics after the cut...

ReplyDeletestomach infrastructure
ReplyDeleteOur nigerian leader always spend time and money to give us what we don't need. am not saying that giving is bad,but those people don't look like beggars,I believe in empowerment, something that is sustainable **EMZEALLOUS**
ReplyDeleteMaybe you did not have a good look of the pictures the line up for it. They really need the food and who told you that stomach infrastructure will stop development. Stomach infrastructure is the beginning of development. AYO has done well and he is the kind of person we need at the president level
DeleteThis is so embarrassing ..A governor distributing animals when he's meant to be doing real capital projects ..ekiti b people should be ashamed of themselves ...poverty is making them beggars
ReplyDeleteShit, the comment already started? sorry. scuse me let me pass to the first comment.
ReplyDeleteCorrect man....good governor
ReplyDeleteOkay o, this one na real stomach infrastructure
ReplyDeleteHas the country nigeria turned so backward like this,i thot the ekiti people are the fountain of knowledge. What has a governor with fowls and rice. Stomach infrastructure indeed

...and when they are done collecting stuff they go back to their homes with no light, bad water supply, no drainage and all other lacking infrastructure...
ReplyDeleteArrant nonsense! How about developing the state to generate jobs so people can be employed and fend for themselves? Why turn the people to almajiris in the South West???
ReplyDeleteThey deliberately impoverished the people and then give out handouts to make them the "leaders " look good as if they care.
ReplyDeleteNice one. God bless him richly
ReplyDeletelols....stomach infrastructure! hunger plenty for Ekiti...I think they needs it. .via 79BBA6DD

It is not agarose but the state. Unless he used his salary.! If he used state funds, then it is simple state welfare. Not all Nigerians are gullible.
ReplyDeleteDats good of him..
ReplyDelete**Vanchizzy**
I rili like dis man he is a man of principle haters u can kiss my ass
ReplyDeleteWhat is the differences between giving worker 15% bonus for xmas and giving rice, chicken and money to the poor on the street?
ReplyDeleteWell I hope these actually went to the people who really need it.
ReplyDeleteIs dis wot ekiti pple need?????
ReplyDeletePolitics playing!!! I hope the people that gets the package are those who need it the most. I mean the less privileged, orphans, widows and the poor.
ReplyDeletedont like the guy at all
ReplyDeleteshouldn't this man be teaching his people how to fish rather than giving them fish?????
ReplyDeletePlease get this clown out of the government house. Pure Joke.
Nice gesture but to what end?? The people will remain poor and have a slave mentality.
ReplyDeleteWell giving food is good but more is expected from an elected state governor....C'mon any rich citizen with a good heart can do this. Even the Chinese billionaire did more than food.....he built houses and gave scholarships
ReplyDeleteIts better to teach a man how to fish than just giving him fish....Granting Scholarships, providing housing, providing good water, creating forums for leadership training for the youth, rehabilitation for the drug addicts/prostitutes, creating more opportunities for youth development, free medical health (at least for primary health care) etc is more beneficial to the people than rice and chicken that will be passed out as faeces....
This doesn't develop the people in anyway...it only fills their stomach for a while.
Honestly projects like this "Stomach Infrastructure tingy" shows the low mentality and illiteracy of our leaders....They completely lack vision, no sense of direction whatsoever....from Jonathan to some other governors...Only a few like Fashola have been able to distinguish themselves from the whole bunch of Otondos...They just run around like headless chickens...and when the head is gone, the body is unable function.See the current situation the country ...total chaos....
Still laughing at the term "Stomach Infrastructure"...If you like feed the state for your 4 year tenure it doesn't mean nothing...it doesn't improve the state or people in anyway...its only temporary satisfaction of the belle
My people come 2015....shine your eye and vote wisely...your vote is your voice for a better future for your children and this country...America and Uk did not become what they are today without dedication, patriotism and the people deciding....we the people have so much power...if we all exercise our right of franchise no bloody fool can rig this elections...You have seen what the power of the people have achieved in other countries...i no say make una protest...just vote and choose your leader, so that mediocre like this do not get in. Selling your votes for brown envelops is undiluted foolishness...be wise...
Ekiti chose this mediocre/joke because of the rice and oil he provided, they had no choice...they do not know better...there is so much poverty and illiteracy out there, so collecting a fill bowls of rice and few change from their state governor is sufficient i.e to belle full better pass knowledge and development...chai my God have mercy on us ohhhh
This is why we must fight for education, development and a better future for our children...Gbam...
Well spoken !
DeleteHmm dats nice
ReplyDeleteWhoever coined the word "infrastructure" will be extremely pained by this mindless abuse of it. Hard to see how intangibles like poultry and grain fit the bill.
ReplyDeleteHe did something. Very good
ReplyDeleteStomach amenities
ReplyDeleteVery nice of him
ReplyDeleteGod bless u Fayose
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteHow much is this costing the Ekiti Government? Did the State Legislator appropriated money for this show? Or, the expense came out of his personal bank account.
Teach them how to fish also.
ReplyDeleteand the official dumbest governor award of the year goes to...... *drum roll *Governor Fayose! *applause *
ReplyDeleteWell done sir, it shows you are passionate abt ur people
ReplyDeleteat who expence?
ReplyDeleteCongrat to Ekiti people, i think that is what they have been askin for, finally they have gotten it.. I hope they wont regret all these sha
DeleteStomach amenities!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTchheew! Thats the differences fashola gave 15% bonus to LAG workers this man is here doing stomach infrastructure its kinda stupid anyway if yu want to do charity do it normal
ReplyDeletenot bad, its Christmas, it'll go a long way to help some people have a good one. Cant wait to see his performance on real issues and infrastructure though
ReplyDeleteNICE!
ReplyDeleteThat was why he ws voted in the first place.
ReplyDeleteTell him to pay batch c corpers their state allowance 55,000.
ReplyDeletegood 1.but did he normally does ds whn he ws out of govt? Ekiti people, una don sell una conscience bcoz of wetin una go chop temporarily.
ReplyDeleteProviding basic infrastructure and making the place run well is the only gift worth giving. That way, the people will be able to fish instead on being given fish.
ReplyDeleteThese theatrics are tiring
did he normally does ds whn he ws out of govt? If nt,den na state money na wayo.
ReplyDeletemy ekiti people am so disappointed.A highly respected state that has a great number of intellects in our educational system is now being seen as a derided state,a state of hungry people.I think its now they will understand the meaning of #vote wisely.
ReplyDeleteFayose is just returning part of what he stole in his first term when he looted one-point five billion naira for a nonexistent poultry project.
ReplyDeleteWhy praise a half-repentant looter and who knows how much he plans to loot now?
If a governor has to personally go on the streets sharing rice and chicken in Ekiti state, it means the state has failed woefully.
Not even in the North do you see such happening.

instead of feeding them once why dont you give them jobs so they can constantly feed themselves and families.. richlyblessed007@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteThis is called giving back!.
ReplyDeleteNot the senseless millions our politicians are giving away in Abuja.
That 1st picture though...so looks like month old chick.
ReplyDelete.

Becuase my believe is if you want to do charity, let it be from your personal puss. Not with our common cake you use it to do father christmas.
