Photos: Alleged NSCDC Detention Cell at Alausa

From a LIB reader who was at the cell recently and took photos. Read what he wrote below...
This is the NSCDC (Nigeria Security & Civil Defence Corps) detention cell for both witnesses and suspects at their office opposite Lagos State Secretariat Alausa.
At the time this picture was taken, 7 elderly men above 60years were being detained for three days as witnesses not suspects to case. Today would make it six days.
The zinc house close to the cell is the toilet where the NSCDC officers take turns to urinate and stinky odour goes into the cell that has no form of ventilation.
So now I ask "What is civil about the Civil Defence Corps?"

Mind you,am not putting the blame on politicians alone but You n I.The only thing we know how to do is to complain about everything but no one is ready to take actions. Things will continue to go this way if we continue to sit down and fold our arms. Mind you Nigerians no Messiah will come and rescue you guys. It all lies in our hands You n I.We need Change!

    ReplyDelete
  104. Pls before you comment try to find out if really those people in question are truly witnesses because I know Nscdc will be the last organization that will detain a witness to any case unless investigation has revealed those people u call witness as conspirators to the crime for which the prime suspects were arrested for

    ReplyDelete
  105. i have been to THIS NSCDC OFFICE WHERE THIS CELL IS LOCATED AT ALAUSA. AND IT IS TRUE. I ALSO KNOW ABOUT THE CASE OF THESE ELDERLY MEN, ONE AMONG THEM IS SICK. AND THEY ARE WITNESSES NOT SUSPECTS. YOU THAT CALLED LINDA A FOOL, I THINK YOU ARE VERY STUPID. I WAS ALSO AT THE PREMISES WHEN THE LAWYER FIGHTING FOR THE SICK PAPA WAS BEATEN UP BY THE NSCDC OFFICERS ON THE CLAIMS THAT HE WAS DISTURBING THE PEACE OF THEIR OFFICE. I CAN STAND AS WITNESS TO DEFEND ALL I SAW THAT VERY DAY IN ANY COURT OF LAW.
