Let us just be realistic, dis kids on the scaffold don't look like they are working. There is no work shown ongoing, as a matter of fact, what skill do they possess to warrant them working at height? As far as I am concerned, they are up on the scaffold, playing.

    ReplyDelete
  75. U dont blame the church ..U blame the contractor..Be wise and be reasonable please

    ReplyDelete
  76. Dats why I don't go to church

    ReplyDelete
  78. Now they'l say d kids are doin God's work. *pshhhh...*

    ReplyDelete
  79. We may call it child labour but the kids needs the money more than we can think of. Our society is so messed up. Was once like them and not that i lack anything but for more money in my pocket. my money is my money and not my parents'. Don't think both is to be blamed, just speaking out of experience.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Hypocrites get a life and ask questions... Yes it is a construction site but the pics does not in any way suggest the kids are working(they are probably playing) the could have followed their parent to their work place...check the last pics/tweet the position the kid on blue is standing does not show any on going work as rendering has already been done and painting hasn't commence...atleast the pics says so..beside why are the kid outside on the scaffold while the work man/men seem to be plastering internal walls!!! People just look for cheap way of becoming internet human right celebrity without considering the person on the receiving end....

    ReplyDelete
  92. ABEG the church must have giving the contract out to a building company Why calling Anglican as if it is them that sent the kids???

    ReplyDelete
  93. I'm not sure this kids are working there. I think they re just having fun or messing around there

    ReplyDelete
  94. Too bad...@funmimy

    mjabdulk@gmail.com

    ReplyDelete
  98. To be a man is nt a day job, maybe they want to become a man asap.

    ReplyDelete
  99. I honestly don't think the church is at fault, the labour workers working on the site should be blame..the person that send this pics make a better investigations before put the blame on the church.is it the church members working or labour workers(bricklayers)

    ReplyDelete
  100. We are the problem.
We don't want to pay tax or bills. We want the government to breastfeed us. We cheat each other. We are not ethical.
    We exploit the poor.
Our government are rogues and we are in cohort with them.
Nobody cares about the betterment of the nation through sacrifice of self greed.

The contractor is responsible for the betterment of his crew. The church should ensure this evil is stopped.

    Is the child the breadwinner?

    ReplyDelete
  101. Linda....hmmmmm.....post ma comment ooo

    ReplyDelete
  102. And some morons would castigate the church as if its d authority of d churh that hire the lil boy to work on the site. Lets face it, poverty level in this country is alarming if not a young chap should be in the class learning.

    ReplyDelete
  103. The church shouldn't be criticized or blame the reverend. The contractor should be held accountable for child abuse.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Can you imagine???!!!

    ReplyDelete
  105. Nigerians! Pls let's use our brain. Put ur brain to work. Dis pic doesn't prove dey r working on d site bt rather dey r playing mayb after d workers had left or finished d day's work.
    Church wouldn't have employed children....

    Use ur brain!

    ReplyDelete
  106. D church shld be taking care of dis kids not using dem....Lord have mercy

    ReplyDelete
  107. Considering that there's no adult in sight,it might be that those kids are just playing around on their own as inquisitive as they can be. They can't be the only ones working on a construction site on a normal day. Not to talk of climbing up.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I don't believe any body, group or association will hire kids 2 do work such as tthis 4 them. Big lie
