Around 12noon today, armed robbers invaded Access Bank in Agbor, Delta state. They engaged in a gun battle with the military who managed to kill one of the robbers. Pics from the incident after the cut

Isn't it illegal for military to handle such crimes? I thought military are only called in when it is a war or to protect boarders? So what role does the police force play if military is doing this? Military are trained to kill and could have hurt innocent civilians. Puzzled

They were killed by soldiers. Soldiers escorting a container of Goods from Lagos chased them, shot at their fuel tank and they burnt to ashes. I was on my way to union bank, Just two building away from access bank when the robbers attacked
Christmas is abt birth of christ..why must dey luk for fast money..see dt ine jst lying lifeless on d ground..hop dey will give his own share of d money in his grave.
That's the kinda news we suppose to be hearing where there is no informants, saboteurs & pretenders. But unfortunately or fortunately the reverse is the case in the northern part of the country. Kudos to the security team!! If you are hungry,stealing will not solve the matter but working should. You don't even need to work that hard but sit down & think then you will find a way. The time it took them to think & plan about this operation, assuming the thought was for positivity, I bet you they will achieve more in peace than in shatters.
