With this trip, Kanu has again broken more limits by becoming the first Nigerian member of the Iron Butt Association, also known as the World’s Toughest Motorcycle Riders, after riding for 1600+ kilometres in 24 hours on a bike.
Kanu, who is a chemical engineer, has ridden motorcycles in 26 countries of the world, 23 of which were with his own Nigerian-registered motorcycle.
It’s not just about living a life of adventure and breaking limits, but also changing the way Nigerians are perceived.
Kanu is the co-founder, and member of the Board of Trustees of the Easy Riders Motorcycle Club of Nigeria - the first registered motorcycle club in Nigeria. He is also the co-founder of Ride Easy Motorcycle Training School; co-founder and member Board of Trustees, Ride Easy Motorcycling Club of Lagos, and Superbike Clubs Association of Nigeria (SCAN).
He is the first and returning Vice President of the Association of Nigerian Motorcycle Clubs.
When he is not pursuing adventure, he pursues perfection of his riding skills. He has attended a variety of courses in Europe, including Levels 1 & 2 GS BMW Off Road Skills, Levels 1& 2 training at the California Superbike School, UK.
As Kanu makes his way back to Lagos, Nigeria, you can join in the remainder of his adventure by liking his Facebook pages:

ReplyDeleteEseohe Kanu AKA Eso's husband. Congratulations to him. I remember Eso clearly, as well as her husband. The last time I saw Eso was in 1996/1997. Eso; thanks for fixing my weave at the time for free. My regards to your family and your younger brother and your hausa female friend. I have forgotten her first now - clue; she's light-skinned and slim - tallish. Wow. I'm happy to see her husband in the news. #much #positivity
ReplyDeleteEso; also thanks for allowing me listen to your Whitney Houston CD for many hours in your then flat. Her name is Fatima, I remember. I was such a huge fan of Whitney Houston. Nice memories. Her Album cover - she had a white sleeveless fitted top on and a bright smile ; curly hair. Quiet Eso. Chatty me. I can talk for days - I know some people don't like it. Well, is al-right. Ciao
