Have you guys read this bizarre Jaden & Willow Smith interview?

Just read excerpts from Jaden and Willow Smith's interview with T magazine and I'm not so sure that these kids are totally alright...lol. In the interview, Jaden 16 and Willow, 14, talk about quantum physics, meditation, their ability to control time, why school is useless, that they write their own novels because there are no good novels out there, how babies remember when they are born and so many weird stuff.  Read below, from T Magazine
Q: What have you been reading?
Willow: Quantum physics. Osho.
Jaden: “The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life” and ancient texts; things that can’t be pre-dated.
Things that can't be pre-dated? Will and Jada Smith, come get your children please..lol. Continue..

I’m curious about your experience of time. Do you feel like life is moving really quickly? Is your music one way to sort of turn it over and reflect on it?
WILLOW: I mean, time for me, I can make it go slow or fast, however I please, and that’s how I know it doesn’t exist.
JADEN: It’s proven that how time moves for you depends on where you are in the universe. It’s relative to beings and other places. But on the level of being here on earth, if you are aware in a moment, one second can last a year. And if you are unaware, your whole childhood, your whole life can pass by in six seconds. But it’s also such a thing that you can get lost in.
WILLOW: Because living.
JADEN: Right, because you have to live. There’s a theoretical physicist inside all of our minds, and you can talk and talk, but it’s living.
WILLOW: It’s the action of it.

What are some of the themes that recur in your work?
JADEN: The P.C.H. being one of them; the melancholiness of the ocean; the melancholiness of everything else.
WILLOW: And the feeling of being like, this is a fragment of a holographic reality that a higher consciousness made.
JADEN: [bursts into laughter] As soon as me and Willow started releasing music, that’s one thing that the whole world took away is, okay, they unlocked another step of honesty. If these guys can be honest about everything, then we can be more honest.

How have you gotten better?
WILLOW: Caring less what everybody else thinks, but also caring less and less about what your own mind thinks, because what your own mind thinks, sometimes, is the thing that makes you sad.
JADEN: Exactly. Because your mind has a duality to it. So when one thought goes into your mind, it’s not just one thought, it has to bounce off both hemispheres of the brain. When you’re thinking about something happy, you’re thinking about something sad. When you think about an apple, you also think about the opposite of an apple. It’s a tool for understanding mathematics and things with two separate realities. But for creativity: That comes from a place of oneness. That’s not a duality consciousness. And you can’t listen to your mind in those times — it’ll tell you what you think and also what other people think.
WILLOW: And then you think about what you think, which is very dangerous.

Do you think of your new music as a continuation of your past work?
JADEN: I think Willow’s had a huge evolution.
WILLOW: I mean, “Whip My Hair” was a great thing. When I look back I think, “Wow, I did so much for young black girls and girls around the world. Telling them that they can be themselves and to not be afraid to be themselves.” And I’m doing that now but in a whole different way, coming from source energy and universal truths. People will be, like, “Oh, I’m not going to make a song about exactly how I feel, all the bad ways that I feel, and put it out in the world so everyone can judge me.” But for me, it’s a part of me, it’s my artistic journey.
JADEN: That’s another thing: What’s your job, what’s your career? Nah, I am. I’m going to imprint myself on everything in this world.

How do you write? What’s your process?
JADEN: She gets in the booth and just starts singing.
WILLOW: I mean, the beat is usually what moves me. Or I think of concepts. Then when I hear a beat that is, like, elaborating on that concept, I just go off.
JADEN: She freestyles and finds out what she likes. Same thing with me.
WILLOW: You piece it together. You piece together those little moments of inspiration.

What are you searching for in those pieced-together moments?
JADEN: Honestly, we’re just trying to make music that we think is cool. We don’t think a lot of the music out there is that cool. So we make our own music. We don’t have any song that we like to listen to on the P.C.H. by any other artist, you know?
WILLOW: That’s what I do with novels. There’re no novels that I like to read so I write my own novels, and then I read them again, and it’s the best thing.
JADEN: Willow’s been writing her own novels since she was 6.

But do your collaborative relationships inspire you in different directions?
JADEN: Totally.
WILLOW: Me and Jaden just figured out that our voices sound like chocolate together. As good as chocolate tastes, it sounds that good.

How does fashion relate to what you do?
JADEN: Willow just dropped a song (“Cares”), let me quote the lyrics: “I do not care what people say.” We both don’t really care. I like to wear things that I make, but I throw it on as though I was throwing on anything. It looks cool, sometimes.
WILLOW: I like to go to places with my high-fashion things where there are a lot of cameras. So I can just go there and be like, “Yep, yep, I’m looking so sick.” But in my regular life, I put on clothes that I can climb trees in.

What are the things worth having?
JADEN: Something that’s worth buying to me is like Final Cut Pro or Logic.
WILLOW: A canvas. Paint. A microphone.
JADEN: Anything that you can shock somebody with. The only way to change something is to shock it. If you want your muscles to grow, you have to shock them. If you want society to change, you have to shock them.
WILLOW: That’s what art is, shocking people. Sometimes shocking yourself.

You mentioned breathing earlier, and it’s also an idea that recurs in your songs.
WILLOW: Breathing is meditation; life is a meditation. You have to breathe in order to live, so breathing is how you get in touch with the sacred space of your heart.
JADEN: When babies are born, their soft spots bump: It has, like, a heartbeat in it. That’s because energy is coming through their body, up and down.
WILLOW: Prana energy.
JADEN: It’s prana energy because they still breathe through their stomach. They remember. Babies remember.
WILLOW: When they’re in the stomach, they’re so aware, putting all their bones together, putting all their ligaments together. But they’re shocked by this harsh world.
JADEN: By the chemicals and things, and then slowly…
WILLOW: As they grow up, they start losing.
JADEN: You know, they become just like us.

So is the hardest education the unlearning of things?
WILLOW: Yes, basically, but the crazy thing is it doesn’t have to be like that.
JADEN: Here’s the deal: School is not authentic because it ends. It’s not true, it’s not real. Our learning will never end. The school that we go to every single morning, we will continue to go to.
WILLOW: Forever, ‘til the day that we’re in our bed.
JADEN: Kids who go to normal school are so teenagery, so angsty.
WILLOW: They never want to do anything, they’re so tired.
JADEN: You never learn anything in school. Think about how many car accidents happen every day. Driver’s ed? What’s up? I still haven’t been to driver’s ed because if everybody I know has been in an accident, I can’t see how driver’s ed is really helping them out.
WILLOW: I went to school for one year. It was the best experience but the worst experience. The best experience because I was, like, “Oh, now I know why kids are so depressed.” But it was the worst experience because I was depressed.

So what’s next?
JADEN: I have a goal to be just the most craziest person of all time. And when I say craziest, I mean, like, I want to do like Olympic-level things. I want to be the most durable person on the planet.
WILLOW: I think by the time we’re 30 or 20, we’re going to be climbing as many mountains as we can possibly climb.

  5. Their reasoning have become somewhat peripheric. This happens when you've seen it all at an early stage, when you've seen almost all the good things of this life, nothing interest nor impress you any longer. To you every other person is crazy or ain't getting it right asides you.
Their way of thought is dangerous coz it sometimes leads to egoistic suicide.

  12. No time to read all the jargons. This is what happens when you don't send your children to Church. These ramblings are clearly a lot to do with their religion of choice - Scientology. As much as I hate to say this, the moment will Smith married that Jada, he lost it. Now, the Universe has to deal with the muddle in the brains if their offsprings.

    1. Why does every thing has to be about church and religion, I don't know why people criticise human being like them. You go to church I don't go, I get criticised for not being a church goer or a christian, I believe in sacrifice or praying to God in another way the community look down on me. Why does life have to be this way, we just need to calm and learn life there are things beyond our view about life. Those kids talk about life the way they see it and what they said is real. If you go to school doesn't mean you will end up making huge money. You can sure learn from society and be a better person. I see nothing bad in there interview its just so real and true and if you dont like you leave no comment

    2. thumbs up...i totally agree with u...its sad that most people are blinded to so much things in this life...we fail to understand that the whole concept of religion falls on morality..so not going to church should not be the basis for criticizing ... and on these kids, i believe fame has given them a new mind to the concept of life..Einstein would b proud.. thumbs up Will n Jada

  35. I think you guys forgot that they are SCIENTOLOGISTS. That's their religion. That's what they study. That's what they believe,so that's what they speak.

    ReplyDelete
  36. First time i'm dropping a comment on any blog and so wish to do this cos i read some comments and i almost chuckled. some brilliant, some amusing while some are bland. In the interview above, the kids were only passing on what they believe in and answering the questions based on the teachings. Their religion is simply called SCIENTOLOGY. Pls educate yourselves and read wide. That's same thing their father practices likewise some notable hollywood celebs. All they said are based on the teachings and way of their own chosen religion. The energy,Shock, Prana etc. It's confusing, intelligent and same time out of this world but if you know a little about SCIENTOLOGY, you'd relate with them. I'm out of here.

    ReplyDelete
  37. There is nothing weird here. Their replies are highly intellectual and despite the fact that they don't go to school, their brains are sound and sharp. You can tell that they study way beyond what they can even learn in any school. I also noticed a connection between both of them. They can complete each other's sentences without breaking a beat, Jaden praises Willow's talent without hesitation and their minds seem to be flowing in the same direction. It's a good thing really.

    ReplyDelete
  38. These kids are extremely intelligent. They need to be guided though.so that very good thing they have don't kill them in d end. I grab their point on education. Learning shld never end. Most pole in schools don't learn. I dig that example of drivers ed. Accidents shld have reduced if it was really relevant.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Hmmm, they are rather too young to be so philosophical. But, if you studied philosophy like I did, you'll def get their reasoning.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I hope my capable smart Libers can read btw the lines and see past the hogwash. What this kids are talking about is way deeper than them.imagine the melancholiness(perfectionism and artistic genius) of the ocean(waters:the birth place of all creation.the Spirit of the Lord was upon the surface of the waters),the relative value of time, prana energy etc...
Some one smarter (that old serpent) wants to sell his old agenda(ability to be God without being subject to God) through highly visible mouth pieces.
Sometimes,I read through the devil nothing He does fazes me.
Recently, almost every hot female celebrity had their nude picture leaked(official release). To cap it up,Kim K for no justifiable reason sent her own nude picture to break the internet..the only sin that can defy the body of a man is sexual immorality...
The devil can fool those kids but not us! (imagine Jaden that cldnt deliver on his lines n character depiction in AFTER LIFE forming omniscience)

  46. I’m laughing at these comments. Willow and Jaden are reading books about quantum physics while everyone on here probably only reads Linda Ikeji's blog and gossips about celebrities. You lose. They win. This is a perfect example of how society conditions everyone to all think the same and the minute people say stuff different from what you deem to be normal it’s written off as crazy talk when in fact they are ahead of their time and very bright. You all could learn a thing or two. It certainly won’t be from sitting on this blog all day arguing back and forth about who did this nd did that. All of whom re living more fabulous lives than you. Good day.

  66. As a blogger/journalist I expected you to know better than to think people's idea/mindset can be considered "bizzare" they are clearly thinking for themselves at the age of 14/16 their minds are not trapped by religion or what society deems normal... they strive to think for themselves and not allow media and all that's around them mend their mind. This actually made me respect them so much.. to have a mind not closed is very hard.. especially as Nigerians where religion is the first thing you hear or know. smh and of course commenters will call them weird. The term weird is stupid... its called different

    ReplyDelete
  67. and for the guy saying send them to church...look up the history and read the whole bible before you completely close your mind up to outside beliefs... religion is man made.. so you believe in a higher being man deemed worthy of praise...

    ReplyDelete
  68. Nothing philosophical, they just are not connecting with reality..how would u expect them to anyway?

  79. There is a difference between knowledge and spirituality, the mind is infinit and people can easily get lost in it, at first it is exciting and people will call u briliant but then as u go futher seeing that there's is no end to the cycle of the mind (wahala), a real depression or dark nite of soul set in, bottom line.. seek God not knowlegde, dem kids are just new to study of relativity, time and space.. In conclusion, true knowledge or true spirituality is like underwear, it is useful to have it but not necessary to show it off.., dis whole interview is just a show off. Bcos questions are regular normal questions

  82. Ignorant people...including linda...I can't believe u guys actually taught this is bizarre. ..This is what you get wen u realise u r not others, wen you study, wen u decide to build up urself. I bet if a 50 yr old gave this response u guys will admit he's a genius. Grow up people and read and decide to stand out in d crowd.
As for me this is just highly intelligent and I will tell them to keep it up

  84. I Don Talk My Own19 November 2014 at 20:28

Wow! I have to accept at this time that they are smart kids... I'll let the parts that don't really go well with my system pass and just admire their level of intelligence and devotion to studying (something most teens of this days lack)

condemn tins de dont understand. if these kids at this early stage can be dis deep, i think sum of us have some building up to do. theres nutin bizzare abt this its just highly intuitive, thats all n thats something nigerians lack, guess u all can see that from the comments.

  87. The duo are the most intelligent kids I've seen around...they're not just talking but are really engrained in thinking and searching to understand. This is knowledge and not any crap like some people are saying

  88. Wow, this is an awesome interview. Kids with an open view of the world, of existence, and of how it is truly important to not be a part of the herd, because the herd is headed to the slaughter. Fantastic!
