Facial Definition Made Easy! (Highlighting & Contouring)

This has been made popular over the past 2 years by a few celebrities, but as a matter of fact, the technique has been in use for many decades.

The facial sculpting technique uses a darker shade to contour areas of the face that should naturally have a shadow and a lighter shade of product to highlight areas of the face where light hits the face.
This technique can be used to imitate different face shapes and conceal parts of the face.

The Zaron Face Definer is the absolute favourite contour kit for women of colour as it contains not just a contour powder and highlighter but also contains a bronzer that will give you the perfect glow for your skin.
The highlighter is used to reflect light off the face and to draw attention to certain areas of the face. These are areas that are usually prominent on the face like the bridge of the nose, underneath the eye, chin and on the brow bone.
The contour powder is used to create shadows and make areas where it is applied appear less prominent. It should be applied on areas such as beneath the cheekbones, the sides of the nose, the forehead and the crease of the eye. By applying the contour beneath the cheekbones, that area of the face is made darker and less prominent thereby enhancing the cheekbones and bringing them into focus. The same logic applies when you apply contour to the sides of the nose.
The bronzer should be applied slightly unto the apples of the cheeks blending upward into the hairline; it can also be applied to the bridge of the nose and the chin. This is to create a warm glowy or dewy effect.

The Zaron Face Definer comes in four different shades that have been perfectly combined to suit you. So whether you are really fair complexioned or very dark in complexion, Zaron has the perfect shade of product to help bring out your best features. The best part is it retails for as low as N2,980.
So what are you waiting for? Join the many smart women who use Zaron’s Face Definer.

  26. i don't know why a top brand like zaron would rely on cheap and inexperience photographers and retouchers for makeup ad campaign.
the pictures for this ad, shows that even barbie has more skin textures than the models themselves.
to me this simply is trash and can't in anyway be compared to ads done by mac cosmetics and other brands out there
