...and Nigeria fails to qualify for the 2015 African Nations Cup
Sad day for Nigerian football. We drew with South Africa this evening 2-2 but it wasn't enough to get us to Equatorial Guinea 2015. And we are supposed to be the defending champion. So sad! *crying*
The whole super eagles!!! They weren't serious from d beginning. They never are! Dey always like to do fir brigade approach...if A loses and B draws den we qualify!..always does kind of calculations! na dem know. Make everybody sidon for house na!
Yaaaaayy! This just made my day. Its not sad news Linda, its great news. I love the fact that we didn't qualify. #dancingskelewu #waitingforEPLmatchonsaturday
i shake my head for a clueless coach, useless players only vincent and aluko wanted to win the game ,the rest where sleeping ,what was emenike ,uche ,mikel doing on the pitch ?the defence was another apology damn stupid lazy players excluding vincent and aluko.
Linda it's you that I blamed for the wingless eagles not qualifying for next year African nations cup competition o.because I dnt know why u are cryin for them.hahahahahahahhahaha.....baginatu fun Awon goons mi
I know my comment will draw a lot of attention and condemnation but am from Akwa Ibom and i work closely with the commissioner of youth and sports in my state.how can Nigeria win when all they did was wine and womanize all night with Governor Akpabio and the director of protocols in the state?they came to train and ready themselves for a match but every night Le Meridien hotels is filled with girls for the players on the orders of the governor and single handedly carried out by the director of protocols Aniekpeno Mkpanam.......we all knew the boys will be too spent to finish the job the came for and as we speak a party is prepared for them and girls lodged in the suites waiting for the players to return.we reward mediocrity a lot in Nigeria
ver good, dis z the most exciting newz I have heard dis year....ndd now nigeria will sit down nd solve their football crisis, infact if fifa can ban us fr 3 yrs,...frm football activities, it wud also be nice*ingrident don yarn*
I blame the coach; what was Kalu and Emenike doing there??, they were passengers in that game. They were lucky; SA wld have broken record with them. Keshi should do himself a favor and just resign and never look back.
Super chickens, bunch of over hyped, over pampered babies... After they will come n be posting pictures on instragram n be claiming 20yrs, instead of them to use that time to do proper training...this is d fault of keshi n d NFF.
Am so happy..Yay They don't deserve to qualify except Enyeama who always does well We can't continue with our probability games Now they can sack Keshi in peace
Am so happy..Yay They don't deserve to qualify except Enyeama who always does well We can't continue with our probability games Now they can sack Keshi in peace
The New Stadium. Most of them ain't used to playing on such a big pitch. Covering ground became a problem. Even with the Red Card, the Bafana Boys were getting most of the aerially intercepted balls and their right forward winger is really good.
Wish there's a " like" button. Football always put smiles on our faces. God Almighty will do what football couldn't do by putting smiles on Nigerian faces in all ramifications.
We are not totally out of AFCON 2015..let's wait for d other results to see if we can qualify as best looser.....chaii super eagles,we supoz don pass dis level naw
I can imagine how many fights will be fought cos of super chickens loosing! The broken hearts, the 1960 bets! Alloy big hugs! D prayers worked wella! Lmao
So boring and childish match.......professional players playing like village training guys.....I can't believe my baby made me watch that yeye match......FYI I rather watch Rangers fc than that......******QUEENMAYA******
Jesus christ of nazareth. We have over-pampered these footballers. Instead of aaron samuel to have been training he was busy relaxing in d pool and taking selfies in d five star hotel. We should hire an international reputable coach.
Despite all the hype. Wht Keshi shld hv done since ws wht he started doing late. Gues he can drop his badge now. The NFF needs to sit down and reconstruct our football association, rather than always looking for whom to impeach. There is always a next time but then....#Painful though
Maybe am not a patriotic Naija but i honestly wanted super eagles to loose bcos its only those dat r prepared deserves to win a race n Naija was no where close in preparatn. So we got wat we work for n dats nothing.
it is so sad, for Nigerian football to have descended this low. i think NFF should by now have its own soccer academy where future stars would be groomed and thus form a buffer for the National team.I don't want to criticize the coaching crew. cos the damage has been done already.
I really blame all d people in d glass house claiming to be performing something.......super eagles needs to be dissolvednd flushed out starting frm d head to d least
Nigeria will always wait for the dying minute before they start struggling to qualify. Or worse still, rely on others to help them qualify. Sadly it didn't work for them this time. I'm sure they were praying for Congo to loose.Serves them right. Next, secure a place just like the S.A did.

Again they dont... my second stance was right... 1 third best team. But they can biy their qualification , if they choose to twist Equatorial-Guinea out as host.
@anon 8:09. I share your honest thought on what was responsible for the SUPER CHICKENS poor outing. While terrorism is taking the life of hapless nigerians and making some refugees in their own country, the only thing that brings smile our face have been taking, for those of us who are not delegates in the various political parties convention, its going to be real boring from now on. Our uncommon contribution the entire country. Truly akwa ibom made.
Linda pls don't cry and don't blame our boys too much. I hv commented on this issue b4. The truth is this Linda and if you can get it to those concerned. During the playing days of Yekini and Amokachi, Nigeria players dominated the european leagues compared to other African countries and that gave us a lot of advantages and we were a dorminant force in Africa Football. But today, a lot of African Players from other African countries are now dorminant in Europe and so that advantage is no longer there. And many of our players too are benchwarmers in their various clubs overseas. So how do u expect them to do well? Look at the countries that hv won the world cup recently, they hv well organised leagues. So the only solution to Nigeria football crisis is to start and develop our local league. Make d people fall in love with our league again by broadcasting all league matches live with state of the art technology like the one in england and South Africa. Build powerful stadia like the one we have in Akwa Ibom. I bet u, in no time, if the football association could do that, people will start showing interest in our local league again. It would be easy to fish out boys from there that would make Nigeria Proud again
I blame it on Keshi and Goodluck Jonathan....Keshi was sacked by the football authority in Nigeria, why did Mr Predident have to reinstate him? The reinstatement of Keshi by Mr President was a slap on the Sports Minister. The players openly told the Sports Minister that they were fed up with Keshi as a coach.....and for the sake of our Nigerian football, the Minister had to sack the coach, but Mr President said he could use his veto power to bring him back.....and what did we get for his action? Failure of course. We all saw the hand writting on the wall that Keshi would fail if he had to continue as a coach, but Mr President said he knew better. Too sad, we were eliminated as a defending champion
Yesoo is just God that took us out...if not this one they re dragging out host cos of ebola.. I like we are out.,God is still saving us from ebola. Thank God
Jona is to blame o.. And all those that supported/supports/voted for such a clueless mumu.
Steven Keshi is obviously not tactical. His tactics have been off from the get go. His sack brought some hope. But no.. Clueless had to support clueless. No we see the result. Defending Champions my ass. We were just lucky that time. No it is obvious.
WE WILL ONLY GET THINGS RIGHT WITH NIGERIA FOOTBALL,IF WE CAN GET RID OF WHICH EVER DEVIL THAT WILL NOT ALLOW SELF ACCLAIM GAINT TO HAV PROFESSIONAL LEAGUE WHEN EVERY SMALL COUNTRIES HAD GONE PRO,THIS IS JUST D CAUSE OF POOR FOOTBALL IN NIG,DOUBT ASK D LIKES OF KANU,OKOCHA
Those guys plus d idiot call IKE NSHI are all fools

ReplyDeleteThis pdp stadium is a badluck and lousy Apkabio too. No more playing in that good for nothing stadium.
ReplyDeleteI blame it on Keshi and Goodluck Jonathan....Keshi was sacked by the football authority in Nigeria, why did Mr Predident have to reinstate him? The reinstatement of Keshi by Mr President was a slap on the Sports Minister. The players openly told the Sports Minister that they were fed up with Keshi as a coach.....and for the sake of our Nigerian football, the Minister had to sack the coach, but Mr President said he could use his veto power to bring him back.....and what did we get for his action? Failure of course. We all saw the hand writting on the wall that Keshi would fail if he had to continue as a coach, but Mr President said he knew better. Too sad, we were eliminated as a defending champion
