the representation of the Igbo Culture on the Channel.
‘Eziokwu with Mama Kube’ is a short
sketch which aims to sensitise and re-orientate viewers on various Social Ills
through a comical presentation by Mama Kube; while Ka Anyisiebi is a popular weekly Igbo-language TV Drama subtitled
in English.
The
award-winning TV Channel has also acquired a fresh batch of carefully selected Movies
starring some of the biggest names in Nigerian Film industry including GENEVIEVE
NNAJI, JIDE KOSOKO, MERCY JOHNSON, NKEM OWOH, FUNKE AKINDELE, VAN VICKER, OMOTOLA
JALADE EKEINDE, MERCY AIGBE, ODUNLADE ADEKOLA, TONTO DIKEH, DESMOND ELLIOT,
PATIENCE OZOKWOR, GABRIEL AFOLAYAN, YVONNE NELSON and others.
These
Fresh Movies are for the Existing Belts for Nigerian Movies on the wapTV
Programme Schedule: REEL NAIJA for
English Language, AWOKOGBON for Yoruba
Language and UN BAKU LABARI for Hausa
Language.
All
these new Movies and Series are Exclusive to wapTV and would commence airing on
the channel on 1st November, 2014.
According
