'The Antique' movie starring Olu Jacobs, Bimbo Akintola premieres Oct. 19th

Get ready for thrills,betrayal,laughter and an unforgettable movie experience as the movie - "The Antique" is set to hit the big screens shortly.

Starring movie greats such as Olu Jacobs, Bimbo Akintola, Ricardo Agbor, Funso Adeolu as well as Kiki Omeili, Gabriel Afolayan, comedian Akpororo, and introducing Oge Indiana, the epic movie boasts of an enchanting storyline which unfolds in a series of mind-gripping cinematography under the directorial expertise of award winning filmakers, Darasen Richards and DJ Tee.




Also written and produced by Darasen Richards, THE ANTIQUE is a fictional story, inspired by events of the Southern Nigeria people in the 19th Century. 
As the only heir to the throne lies at death’s door, Godo Kingdom is in pandemonium therefore, an innocent girl must journey to a land where mortals are forbidden, in search of an antique. But will she return? 

The movie premiere is slated for Sunday 19th of October, 2014 at the prestigious Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos and will debut subsequently across cinemas nationwide afterwards.

  22. Not the best trailer in the world, but the movie might be decent. I can't stand the typical Nollywood movie, but when it is set in "epic" style like this, i tend to give it the benefit of doubt (because it is actually original). That is the only type of Nollywood movie i have seen and did not feel like shooting myself. I saw "Igodo" many years ago, and liked it. This might be good, but not quite "Igodo" good from what i see. Also, did anyone see comedian Akpororo running like a mad man at 1:35 haha.

  27. This reminds me of a story from the great bini kingdom. The story of the pot of life and Aimiemwu. It has books written on it in series... Proudly Nigerian and proud to have a link with the great Bini kingdom. Oba ga to kpere! Ise!

  28. The new girl,oge indiana was my second skul mate,her real name is mary oyeonwu. We went to federal govt girls college,benin together.av also seen her on some episodes of papa ajasco. Am surprised she's now oge indiana, anyways,I wish her the best in acting.
