Meet the four Nigerian billionaire women who own private jets

There are more private jet owners in Nigeria than any other country in Africa. There are about 177 private jets in Nigeria currently, with Dangote and Oyedepo owning the highest number...four each. Out of the 177 PJ's in Nigeria, four of them are owned by women. According to unconfirmed reports, these are the four women who own private jets in Nigeria...

1. Billionaire businesswoman - Mrs Folorunsho Alakija
2. Minister of Petroleum - Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke
3. Oil magnate and politician - Bola Shagaya (who bought hers very recently)
4. Daisy Danjuma, who reportedly got hers as a gift from her billionaire husband, Rtd Gen. Theophilus Danjuma.

  37. Madueke does not own one, its not confirmed. She uses one on a regular basis but its not officially hers.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Where did the minister of petroleum - Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke get the money to buy a private jet? She was just a staff with Shell before she became a minister.
They appropriate the resources of the country to themselves, and they keep buying private jets. All the private jets in the world wont get you to heaven and all the money in the world wont guarantee you sleep in the night.

  88. Why should these people be celebrated without question as to how they acquired private jets. We can look at the list of people around the world that own private jet and link the source of their wealth except in Nigeria.

Since the emphasis is on women, I draw my comparison to your list with people like Oprah Winfrey. It is a well-known fact that she accumulated wealth as a talk show host and other media gig. The facts are there for anyone to see.

Let's go back to your list of so-called jet owners, all these women are affiliated with the Nigerian government in one way or the other as far back as the 70's. We cannot authoritatively point to their source of wealth without raising eye-brow.
How can a government official like Diezani own a private jet or even Mrs. Danjuma? What business have they built with their sweat and blood to afford such opulence?

I believe that someday they will be held accountable for looting and raping the country. The lives of innocent people hang over their heads with the rot and decay in our health system and other social amenities.

The contributions from other readers show how much we have lost our values and morals. They choose to celebrate ill-gotten wealth while failing to understand that these ladies and their husbands have stolen from each one of us.

Let me open your eyes to the fact that when we lack vision the people will perish. Wake up, my people!
