Genevieve Pink Ball 2014: The Ball with a Cause

The moment everyone has been waiting for, the moment to make a difference and change the lives of 100 unique women suffering from breast cancer is finally here! The event tagged “The Ball with a Cause” is set to change the lives of women all over Nigeria. 

The third edition of The Genevieve Pink Ball will take place this Saturday, 18thof October 2014 at 6.30pm at the prestigious Dorchester Event Centre located at 288 Ligali Ayorinde Street, VI...



The Genevieve Pink Ball is a charity event organised to create awareness about breast cancer as well as provide support to patients medically and financially towards the prevention and treatment of breast cancer.
One inspiring thing about this year’s Genevieve Pink Ball is the 100 patient challenge. This initiative is one where interested individuals adopt a Breast Cancer patient. The adopted patients get funds targeted to cover medical expenses towards the treatmentof breast cancer. How are these funds raised? The funds to treat these patients are raised through the purchase of a ticket to this event.
Tickets to this event come in various categories. N30, 000.00 and N50, 000.00 are available through www.naijaticketshop.com or can be physically purchased at Silverbird Galleria in VI or Silverbird Galleria in Ikeja City Mall.
Tables of 10 are also available for this event. 1.5 million Naira and 3 million naira tables are available. Table tickets can be purchased by calling 08172044137.
The event will showcasecollections from Nigeria’s top designers, Lanre Da Silva and Mai Atafo Inspired with appearances from male and female celebrity models who would grace the runway.The pink ball female celebrity models set to take the runway are Toolz, Seyi Shay, Osas Ighodaro, Eku Edewor, Lanre Da Silva, Jocelyn Dumas, Rita Dominic, Dakore Akande and Fade Ogunro. The male celebrity models to look out for are OC Ukeje, DJ Xclusive, Banky W, Chris Attoh, Julius Agwu, John Dumelo, Gideon Okeke, Lynxx and Ohimai Atafo.

The year’s Genevieve Pink Ball promises to be a lot fun with star performances from Flavour, Seyi Shay, Ebony Band, Godwin Strings and celebrity DJ for the evening is DJ Xclusive!
The host for the evening is the beautiful Michelle Dede and also speaking at the event are Mrs. Doyin Abiola, Dr. Ojukwu, a representative from Estee Lauder and Betty Irabor, the Publisher of Genevieve Magazine. 
This is event has the backing of many great brands such as; Access Bank, Proctor & Gamble, Bacardi, Drinks.ng, Eventi Cocktails, Event Secure, Sweet Kiwi, and more.

  17. How come people like us suffering from this disease never see the benefits of these balls?! Only the who and who of society are present at the ball and there's no single breast cancer victim at the event. Hmm! Good cause my foot! Keep enriching yourselves; the day of reckoning is close!
