At a press briefing today in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state
Commissioner for Health, Dr Samson Parker said the elderly woman died of
cardiac arrest and not Ebola as stated by the Minister of Health
through his media spokesperson, Dan Nwomeh. Continue...
The elderly woman shared the same hospital room
with the late Dr Iyke Enemuo who died of Ebola virus disease in Port
Harcourt. She was quarantined alongside a doctor and a pharmacist who were

ReplyDeleteEverything about Amechi govt is fake, what's wrong in passing your information to the Health minister?
ReplyDeleteLousy idiots
Linda, i likea post-o ma comment
Amechi don't play politics with peoples lives, call a spade a spade, dat woman died of Ebola not cardiac arrest.
ReplyDeleteRivers govt will always want to play politics with everything. That Mr Parker Samson and his govt are lairs, he earlier refuted rumours that there is no ebola in PH until health Minister said otherwise. What is he trying to achieve by denying that the elder woman did not die from EVD? i believe Rivers govt wants to start its ususal war with the fed. govt. They should know this is not the time to challenge one another or begin their power tussule.Lives are at stake here.Pls Fed. govt ignore Rivers govt. and render as much help as you can to contain this disease.Fed. govt worked perfectly well with the Lagos state govt. and we applauded their efforts both in informing the public duly with progress made and challenges encountered. pls do not relent or be discouraged in helping the citizens of Rivers State. The aim of Rivers govt is to deter the fed.govt from getting fully involved hence painting Jonathan/his govt. as being weak and indifference to the plights of the citizens.
ReplyDeleteis really bad playing politics wit this ebola would not help either they should emulate lagos gvt instead of issueing contradictory statement.
ReplyDeleteWhat do Nigeria Doctors know? I'm a victim of mis-diagnosis in Nigeria. Had to travel to the US only to find out I didn't hv what they said I hv. Ndi ara...thank God dem no prescribe med for me I wud hv been doomed by now! Anyway I knw better.
ReplyDeleteThey are contradicting themselves. Maybe the poor woman died from neither of the 2! May she RIP all d same! I can Never trust a Naija Doctor even with a common flu!
Why can't the government statistics tarry with others. They are just joking and playing politics not just the disease, boko haram too. im just fed up with it.
ReplyDeleteOla
Number of ebola victims in Nigeria is all politicised anyway. I don't believe any of it.
ReplyDeleteKimmy*****

ReplyDeletei wonder oo may God save us all.

ReplyDeleteThey r playing politics with Ebola over people's lives especially Gov. Amaechi. I hope he knows that God is no respecter of person.
ReplyDeleteNA UNA SEF UNA GO CONFUSE NO B US. YEYE PEOPLE. SO EBOLA IS NOW SOMETHING THEY ARE PLAYING WITH ABI. MSHEWWWW
ReplyDeleteThank God those of us above d Niger are save. Atleast lest us face d BOKO HARAM insurgency. We have enough trouble here already.
ReplyDeleteCan they prove that ebola body destruction was not the cause of her cardiac arrest? eg, Cardiac arrest secondary to ebola virus disease, as all these doctors would say.
ReplyDeleteOur Health Minister should just pls shut the *F up . . . Until he is sure he can face the public properly during this crisis.
