Reno Omokri says Doyin Okupe didn't start the #bringbackjonathan hashtag

Reno Omokri took to twitter to defend his colleague, Doyin Okupe, who many have criticized for tweeting the offensive hashtag on August 22nd. Well, if he didn't start it, why join the bandwagon?

For him to have tweeted it makes mockery of any defence you're trying to putup.

  7. If he didn't start it,his dumb head fuelled it.I'm so tired of these GEJ's buldogs defending each other like a lioness defending her cub. They are the ones ridiculing GEJ before the masses and my dear president is too blind to see it

  15. Mr Omokri, stop being clever by half. Its not about who started it but does it make any sense at all???
Why should a Senior Special Adviser to the President (whatever that means) echo or champion such an insensitive cause?

  22. How come President Jonathan continually surrounds himself with a pack of sycophants who rarely understand the pulse of the people on the street. for such tag to have come only to be politicized by government is one that has ridiculed everything that this administration stands and must have done in the past in terms of developmental infrastructure. I feel Jonathan should relegate his ambition for a moment and live in reality of what Nigerians perceive of him.

  24. it is all about the stomachilogy, and pocketry gain, just pray we Nigerians will get to the level where an American will see us and desire greatly to have the green passport cos of Social Welfare(basic things ooo that are not luxury- good road in front of the house not erosion based roads, a waiter in the restaurant can live in a decent home with wash machine at his disposal etc)

    IT IS WELL WITH NIGERIA

    ReplyDelete
  25. Whether he started it or nah, the fact remains that he was a supporter of it, and continued to tweet it for many days...that is what Nigerians are concerned about, not whether or not he was the one that started it.

No result or any development but these politicians have the guts to use this hash tag for their political ambition n they are now denying it. Who are they deceiving.

He has brought change to Nigeria that we might only witness in future, i feel we are only paying the sacrifice for a change. Soon it'll be over. #Jiggygist says so.
