Photos from President Jonathan's visit to Synagogue yesterday

Pres. Jonathan visited the site of the Synagogue Church of All Nations building collapse yesterday where he commiserated with T.B Joshua and families of victims. Speaking to newsmen after the inspection, the president said there will be an investigation into the circumstances that led to the collapse of the building which has killed at least 86 people and injured 131 so far, most of them South Africans. He said measures will be put in place to check the illegal erection of high rise buildings in the country. See more photos after the cut...

  8. It's official that Goodluck Jonathan is a coward. As a president of a state, you refuse to visit the area where 200+ girls where kidnapped from their school but you attended the site of a poorly constructed building by a corrupt lying criminal named TB Joshua. When will Nigerians wake up and see this pastors and so-called politicians as the new 419s defrauding the country.

  33. Nice to see Oga Jona dressed in a simple white buba & shokoto...I feel for TB Joshua...This shouldn't happen to any religious organisation anywhere in the world. May God wipe our tears away in Nigeria. I love my country regardless.

  34. Is this the TB Joshua they want to probe? Welcoming the president and even making fun of those who died by cutting ribbon as a welcome presentation for the president or who? Tb Joshua taking picture with the president? Anyway it is the last days..Jesus is Lord and may the soul of the dead rest in peace.

  49. Dear Mr President, you have never visited the Northern places attacked by the terrorists, neither did you visit the Chibok parents, I don't even think you have a business visiting this site. Please think about the state of the nation, and not give solidarity to those breaking the law(unproved construction) . As for that TB Man, GOD is going to judge you himself.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Jonathan needs TB Joshua as an ally so the members of the church can vote for him in 2015. Campaign strategy.

  51. Who is TBJ's spiritual father??All the men of God i know have spiritual fathers oo.Over to you,SCOAN members!!!

  53. why are u insulting the president? why should he visit a zone where deliberatetly the northern leaders are killing their fellow ones. Who is bokoharam? Isn't it the northern leaders that invented it? They kill everyday and condemn the president everyday. Please ask buhari, babangida and atiku to visit the zone and find solution to what they invented. Jonathan is a gentle man, though not perfect. And if u all care too much, visit the zone.

  54. The people commenting rubbish talking about chibok girls are so stupid. Have you people forgotten a plane crash in ukrain almost caused 3rd world war? When this type of accident happens and it involves people from other countries it becomes an international event! Stop exposing your ignorance.

  55. Dear oposition of goodluck politicians,no one is a fool all the death and misery you have visited on nigerians to make goodluck look incompetent is very fresh in our memory. We will never vote for you Atiku & Buhari. The possibility that you are behind the kidnapings bombings killing and destroction of lives and property is too real. We dont reward wickedness. Presidency is not your birthright.

  60. @ Sexy Mama "I am a proud Catholic" That's where they have perfect Men of God, abi! Or Homosexuals and peadophiles. Have you googled sexually active popes and gay popes. Close your mouth.

@ Dynamic "they are cutting a ribbon"???? The rest of us are finding it difficult to see where they are cutting a ribbon. In civilized nations a crime/investigation scene is usually cordoned off by the Police with those yellow tapes, to show that only investigating police/forensic scientists are allowed to cross the tape. You can see Nigerian Police Force written on the tape. Am glad to finally see a crime scene cordoned off by the Nigerian Police, he hee.
