Jamal's Chicken Suya: Introducing the 'Butterfly' Chicken Grilling technique

You must have previously heard or read about the ever so succulent, unique flavour, mouthwatering and finger-lickin fabulous Jamal's Grilled Chicken or JGC in Abuja. The new grilled chicken suya spot inspires strong devotion among its fast growing and fiercely loyal customers. It proclaims itself to be "the best grilled chicken suya you'll ever have". Continue...

Most recentlyJGC has upped its level of deliciousness again. They recently announced thatthey now "butterfly" their chickens before grilling them. This is a more succulent way of enjoying grilled chicken suya. The chicken now contain less bones andabsorbs more of their special pepper; making the chicken spicier, more succulent and tender, juicier and marinated than ever!

Jamal's Grilled Chicken or JGC to its fansexperimented with this grilling technique on some chickens at the recently concluded Fusion Family Fair and DMP event andit was a storming success! The grilled chickens were flying off the grill, so much so that they actually run out many times!

Newsflash;JGC wishes to inform everyone that theynow  sell their delicious grilled chicken in parts. A part of Jamals grilled chicken suya costs  N500as opposed to the other suya spots in Abuja that sell a part for N600. Four parts make a whole chicken. :)

In conclusion, you've got to try the new "Butterflied" chicken suya!  And when you do pls let us know what you think..cus chicken suya just got better at Jamal's Grilled Chicken!!

  9. linda i want to make a formal complain about jamal chicken. 2 weeks back i am my friend went there to eat. the chicken served to us was stale and incomplete. when i went to complain to the mallam he literally told me to fuck off. i said i wouldnt come there again and he told me thats my business. i wish i had the number of the man in charge(a light skinned man)he is very nice and courteous but this his particular employee was as rude as hell. so i decided not to go there any more

  24. I've tried this chicken and trust me it's not worth the hype. I got a whole chicken ready to dig in with my brothers, you had to hear the prayer we prayed over this chicken, our mouths salivating..... the minute I threw one into my mouth, I was disappointed. We ended up wrapping it back and throwing it into the fridge. (P.s it tastes a little better a day later) Haven't placed another order since then.

    1. My friends and I had the same experience the first day we placed an order for office delivery. We even called them to complain about it. That didn't stop me from going to the garden myself 2weeks later and it tasted better. So I decided I have to go and get it myself whenever I want some instead of having it delivered to me. I even had some for dinner last night.

And if anyone is poorly or rudely served, report to the Management, not LIB. That's the proper thing to do.
