FG denies hiring Stephen Davis as Boko Haram negotiator

These people like to confuse Nigerians sha. How will someone claim he was hired to do a job by a government if that is not so? FG has denied claims by Australian hostage negotiator, Stephen Davis, that he was hired by the Nigerian Government to negotiate for the release of Chibok girls.

Speaking through the Coordinator of the National Information Center, Mr Mike Omeri, today Sept. 5th in Abuja, FG said the decision to hire a negotiator would be made public whenever they decide to do so and that they have no plans to question those alleged to be Boko Haram sponsors by Stephen Davis
"For now nobody has been hired by the government to negotiate on its behalf with Boko Haram. Anytime the government decides to do so, it will make it known to the public. The government is still investigating the allegations made by the alleged negotiator. However, the government has no plan to question anybody because of those allegations made by the Australian,” Omeiri stated.

  19. There is so much insincerity on the part of our FG they can deny the truth. Even when boko-haram had taken over 3 towns in Borno, they still denied it without showing the public a video evidence to back up their claims. SMH for this Govt

  20. These clowns and fools in government will continue to look stupid on an hourly basis: they now deny ever hiring Steven Davies to negotiate the release of the Chibok Girls!

Please look at the Mail Online News of June 1, 2014, an Australian online Newspaper, where it was stated clearly that he was hired by the President of Nigeria, with the knowledge of the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby and the entire country of Australia!

The fools in government here think that they can open their dirty mouths to make baseless denials?

Let Sheriff go ahead and sue, and if he doesnt - let it be clear that he is hiding an is therefore guilty!

I'm sick of this nation of jokers, liars and thieves, particularly the ones who defend this useless government when the obvious truth stares us in the face - WE ARE ABOUT TO BECOME A FAILED STATE!

Its a pity that it had to take the likes of Boko Haram to reveal the rot and incompetence of this government.

    Shameful.

It is becoming clearer that those who have been affected by Boko Haram will not get justice through this administration. Unfortunately, The Int'l Court of Justice cannot investigate a case that is NOT before it. If the parents of the Chibok Girls want justice to be served they may have to file charges against GEJ, his administration and the Fed Rep of Nig at the Hague and there's more than enough grounds to so do. A govt's responsibility is first and foremost the security of its people. If it cannot even guarantee this, it is a complete non-starter. And some of you are still going to vote for him in 2015.
