This is all bullshit!!the fact you must be an indigene makes it crap..if they really want to help aspiring models and aspiring designers, then there shouldn't be any such thing as indigene..

ReplyDeleteWow! Looks great. This is definitely a welcome idea. Fashion and youth empowerment all in one. Thumbs up!!!
ReplyDeleteI am a Model ooooo
ReplyDeleteSeems like it is gonna be a great event. Can't wait till this spreads to other states too.
ReplyDeleteFashion! Fashion!! Fashion!!! Nuff said.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures from Last year were really awesome. Wish I could be there!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a wonderful idea. Young Nigerian fashion designers rarely get the recognition they deserve. I really like this.
ReplyDeleteIs Linda from Rivers state ni?
ReplyDeleteFashion week seem to be in Vogue now...lol, Niaja don dey step up. Wonderful
ReplyDeleteWen will this come 2 lasgidi? Omo, we definitely need this in lasgidi oooo
ReplyDeleteI hope the event is open to the general public cus I will like to witness it.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I cant shout ooo. This looks like it will be very interesting. PH repping fashion; nothing do us.
ReplyDeleteNice! I like this very much. Giving Nigerian youths an opportunity, we definitely need more of this.
ReplyDeleteOya lets go there. PH Fashion Week, honestly cant remember the last time I heard of any fashion show in Naija. This is good n it looks like it will make sense....
ReplyDeleteSeems like an interesting event...
ReplyDeleteThis is cool ooo. A fashion event with a difference. U hardly find fashion events that aim to empower young entrepreneurs as well. This is nice.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait till Nigerian fashion designers start getting mentioned among the likes of Versace, YSL, and the rest.
ReplyDeleteI like this!
ReplyDeleteNothing for those of us who don't do fashion?
ReplyDeleteas a lover of fashion n a fashion designer myself, i ve 2 say this is a great idea. a lot of us fashion designers nid this kind of helping hand. great!!!
ReplyDeletejust took a look at the N&V website, and the 2013 event looks mind blowing. if the 2014 event is gonna be anything like last year's, then this is definitely a one of a kind event.
ReplyDeletedis event looks swt ooo. will be in PH that week, must try n check it out sha.
ReplyDeleteAwww. they shld ve made the "young designers competition" age limit, 35. If not, I wld ve taken part. got some really great designs. my time ll surely come, but nonetheless, still a great idea though.
ReplyDeletenot a bad idea...killing 3 birds with one stone: fashion promotion, youth empowerment n tourism attraction. touche!
ReplyDeletePH here i come. i must be there.
ReplyDeletegood idea!!!
ReplyDeletelooks like this wld be one of the events of the year. i'm jealous of PH right now. abeg native and vogue, lagos is waiting for una ooo. when ll it reach us?
ReplyDeletePH no dey ever carry last. native and vogue all the way.
ReplyDeletehmmm. this looks quite interesting, can't wait to see how it goes.
ReplyDeleteit is about time. Naija fashion can never carry last ooo; time for us to represent.
ReplyDeletei have a feeling this event ll be on point. cant wait for this expression of talent and fashion.
ReplyDeleteah this looks like it ll be a really big event ooo. if i was in PH, i wld ve gone. wld definitely check out to see how it goes.
ReplyDeletei ve submitted my entries as model. keeping my fingers crossed to be a part of this event.
ReplyDeleteah ah why only rivers indigene na?
ReplyDeletecant wait to experience the elegance of Nigerian fashion.
ReplyDeleteNa only PH dey nigeria?
ReplyDeleteafter seeing last year's event, i think native and vogue's new theme should be "we came. we saw. we fashioned"
ReplyDeleteseems like the event of a lifetime.
ReplyDeletethis native and vogue ain't a bad idea ooo; but why only Rivers indigenes?
ReplyDeletesomething to help out young fashion entrepreneurs if surely a good idea. i hope there would be more of these kinds of event soon.
ReplyDeletethis seems like a very creative event, and I bet it is going to be quite artistic and entertaining. I sure hope this event goes on for many years to come.
ReplyDeletesome of all these fashion shows sha. u dey hardly see person wear the clothes that they displayed, on the streets. or is it just me? native and vogue is still a nice idea though.
ReplyDeleteHmmm are we sure they will live up to their words? This one that they are saying only Rivers indigene. Abeg, it sounds political jor.
ReplyDeletethey have come again with another fashion event. na fashion person want chop? abeg make we rest.
ReplyDeleteI ll be there.
ReplyDeletethe fact that they said the competitions are only open to Rivers idigenes makes it very uninteresting. abeg, i don waka pass.
ReplyDeletewe need to have more of this; i am feeling this concept a lot.
ReplyDeleteAre tickets on sale yet?
ReplyDelete9ce Concept. (Linda's Man)
ReplyDeletei saw on the website that uti and agbani hosted last year's event. this ain't a small event ooo, wish I could attend.
ReplyDeletegood luck to all the fashion designers and models who will be taking part in the competition. if this year's is anything like last, then this is bound to be a great event.
ReplyDeletejust passing by.
ReplyDeletepls let this competition be for real ooo, not the one that after the event, the winner won't get the prizes as stated.
ReplyDeleteIs the event free?
ReplyDeletethe organizers of this event shld try n reconsider this their only indigenes of river states thing. other designers like myself wld love to partake in the competition. thanks!
ReplyDeletewell done to the organizers of this event. i'm not particularly moved by the fashion event, but by the fact that they are aiming to empower young entrepreneurs. kudos to them.
ReplyDeletechai c all the fine fine male models from last year's event lol i wish i cld attend this year's event. i hope it ll be shown on tv though, so i can still at least feast my eyes on all the fine bobos lol
ReplyDeletei ve packed my bags; ph here i come. LOL
ReplyDeletei ve packed my bags; ph here i come. LOL
ReplyDeletehello. can plus-size models apply?
ReplyDeletena waka pass i dey ooo.
ReplyDeleteLET'S GO THERE. PH AND NATIVE n VOGUE ON POINT.
ReplyDeleteis d show free to d public, or r they charging?
ReplyDeletewhich other state would have been capable of hosting such a spectacular event other than my wonderful Rivers State? :-)
ReplyDeletewith all the wahala going on in naija, at least this one go fit relax person mind small. it's a very great innovation especially the competitions. i just hope it lives up to its hype though
ReplyDeleteWHY PH? SO OF ALL THE BETTER STATES IN NAIJA, NA PH DEM CARRY THE EVENT GO? ABEGI!!!
ReplyDeletei just hope it ll make sense sha cus most of the fashion shows i ve attended, not even halfway into the show, and i am already feeling sleepy.
ReplyDeleteMust be an indigene of Rivers State? This is crab.
ReplyDeleteThis is all nonsense, the lady who won the best designer last year has not even been given her N3million prize scholarship to South Africa or kobo as cash prize. I hope the rivers state government is not part of all this wash wash crazy shows by so misleading the youths of the state, and you wonder why there is so much violence in the niger delta region, when na your own people they wound you. Governor Amechi has good intensions for the state but not his so called cabinet ......Linda post dis ooooo
