Kofo, David, Lasbrey, Melody end MTN Project Fame journey with glam party

Having exhibited extraordinary talent, tenacity and great promises to apply whatever musical and life skills they learned in the academy, Kofo, Melody, Lasbrey and David were treated to a glamorous Eviction Party, in Lagos, on Friday. It was, also, a time for the contestants to meet their amazingly growing fans; bid farewell and enjoy, once again, the goodwill of the telecommunications company, MTN, which consistently invests in building human capital for West Africa by helping hone the skills and talents of the youth population in the Sub region. Continue...

The contestants confessed their short stays in the academy had been the best thing that ever happened to them. Melody, immaculately clothed, expressed her optimism for the future saying ‘I feel I have so much to give despite my short time in the academy’.

Kofo, who was the last to be evicted among the four promised: ‘I have learnt a lot from the Faculty members and I will put everything I have learnt into practice so that my potential can be fully realised in the shortest time’. Along sides Lasbrey and David, the contestants reveled in the pomp and splendor of the night, especially with a host of UNILAG and YABATECH students in attendance to celebrate them.

Meanwhile, Danielle, one of the five wild-card entrants who performed last weekend has been finally admitted into the academy having received enough viewers’ votes last week and emerged the judges’ preference.

Also, after another outstanding delivery of recent Afro Hip Hop and Highlife songs, Clement (2), Laami (10), Emeka (6), Taiwo, (17), Christian (1), Ogechi (14), Shola (16), Ruky (15), Flourish (7), Geoffrey (8),  Ugo (18) and Debbie (4) – all contestants - will need the viewers votes, once again, to continue  their stay on the show as any of them with the least number of votes faces the risk of elimination next weekend. Viewers can text their favourite contestants’ unique numbers to 306 or 1745(Ghana), via an MTN line, to keep them in the academy.

You can watch the contestants’ performances and more #MTNProjectfFame7 moments via (https://www.youtube.com/projectfametv) or by downloading the Reel Africa App to watch extended MTN Project Fame 7.0 moments or Visiting www.reelafrica.net. Reel Africa App is available on MTN App Store, Google Play and Windows App Store.
